Not even close to the same thing.. Carrots and corn and veggies being inanimate things are not even in the same category of animals. Not cool dude.. I'm seriously speechless right now. And that's saying a lot coming from me. You need to google a guy named Gary Yourlofsky. He is an activist and a motivational speaker who I got the pleasure of hearing in class a month ago or so. He forever changed my mind about how I eat and I'm sure he can change yours also.

I care less than zero to listen to some bleeding heart activist talking about how I should eat, thank you anyway.

What I am going to do is, walk into my kitchen and make myself a HUGE roast beef sandwich with pepper jack cheese and horseradish sauce.

Before I put the meat on the bread, I"m going to stab it with a fork a few times...just to make sure it's dead, as it's pretty rare.

That being said, plants dont have a brain therefore cant feel pain. Humans are better any other animals because most humans have higher intellect. Thats why we drive cars and bovine still walk and 4 legs. The people in the video obviously have less intellect than animals and feel threatened by the smarter animal, hence their behavior

I don't know how this turned into an argument about how we shouldn't eat animals. Its about how they are tortured before they are killed in SOME farms, and how it needs to stop. When other animals kill animals for food, they don't recklessly torture the animal before they eat... they kill in the quickest way possible.

And just because humans are smarter doesn't mean we have the right to do that shit. Imagine earth without humans... it would be in perfect balance. No pollution, no overpopulation, just balanced life.

just because they dont act the same as we do, doesnt mean they dont make conscious decisions.

sure some things may not show it as readily, but what about carnivorous plants such as venus fly traps?

not moving making decisions etc doesnt make something inanimate...coral is considered a non-moving animal....there are plants more active than some corals

or what about mimosa plants? they "play dead" when touched, they obviously have feelings because they react to touch

if you stab a chicken, its going to holler and run around...if you stab a coral it probably wont move...doesnt mean either of them feels pain differently....same could go for plants - maybe a carrot does feel just like other plants, just has no visible way to show it

cats play with their food before killing it also...same for dogs...my old dog used to pummel rabbits with her paws until it would quit running and give up, and my girls cats do the same with mice
