Seems to me that the FCC is using its budget to make changes that everyone agrees on. Hardly seems like a waste to me. Or are you saying we should de-fund the FCC?It was explained to me that commercials are not louder than TV shows... What happens is that TV shows use volume for dramatic effect and tend to average around half-volume so that when they need to be loud there is still some room to get louder. Commercials are just loud all the time - no need for subtlety. But they are no louder than the TV should *could* be if it wanted to be.Loud commercials work against the advertisers as far as I'm concerned.
