I must be a moron because I don't understand if the article is saying they are closing my Hoggys or not. This is awful, its been my favorite lunch spot with my grandpa for the last 7 years

Three Little Pigs is the best thing on the menu

Hoggy’s Restaurant & Catering has closed all but one of its seven locations after filing for receivership in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas.

The Columbus-based barbecue chain will keep open its Gahanna location, where it will honor all outstanding gift cards, as it restructures, said A.C. Strip, the lawyer representing receiver Jack Harris. Catering that was once done at those stores now will operate out of Gahanna as well.

Thats disappointing, we go to the one on 5th avenue all the time. When we lived in Worthington we went to the one in polaris all the time. The first time we ever went in we sat right next to Beanie Wells and his family while they were having dinner.

Love that place :(

Everytime I've had it(they cater at Chase and had one .1 miles accross the rd), it has been sick. Like totally disgusting.

Actually we had them bring in food a few times besides lunch, and it has sucked too.

Give me City BBQ anytime over Hoggys.

EDIT: Maybe I needed to hit the resturant up though, I've been eating City BBQ for years and love it. But never ate AT a hoggys, maybe thats the difference.

Yea me. The one I hit by Attack Painters house is open. Even though their pasta selection is lacking I still eat semi massive amounts of BBQ.

there is a little Brewery 20 mins from me that you would love...they have BBQ Spaghetti. It is hands down my favorite thing on their menu and they have a massive selection of awesome food

Agreed! City Barbeque is the best choice for BBQ in the Columbus area, IMO.

My parents lived in Texarkana for awhile. Interesting place. Of course, part in TX, part in AR. Thing that stood out was driving down the main drag that separates the states. One state was dry, the other was not, so all the liquor stores are piled on one side of the street.

I have only been to the Hoggy's on Gahanna. It's okay, not my favorite place to eat. I don't know about the others, but they have a farm tractor hanging from the ceiling. Took my 87 y/o grandma there once and we had to move tables because she was paranoid the tractor was gonna fall. lol

Thinkin about, it's kinda in the middle of the IX center and Buddy's. Its called Brew Kettle if you need some BBQ spaghetti when you're in town

Anyone remember Smackie's on Cleveland Ave? I wish they would have never closed.

I have heard from a few people that there is a bbq food truck on high street in Clintonville that is the Smackie's guy.
