ama146
I am going to start racing this season and just wanted to get an idea of lap times for tracks around us here (Nelson, Beaver, Mid-O, Grattan, Putnam, etc.). If you guys could give a overall average time (time MOST people get in the intermediate group for trackdays), a competitive time for racing Novice, and the lap record (or just what the fastest guys run). Thanks!
gixxie750
Um I group would be IMPOSSIBLE to judge lol.I'd say your safe to race and will be top 5-10 if you run.....Grattan. 1:28Putnam: 1:18mid-O: 1:40 Just be smooth and have fun! Racing is soooooo much fun!
ama146
I guess a better way to put the average time is to ask a ENTRY level race time, then a competitive time, and THEN the fastest times out there. Thanks for those times by the way
RidersDiscount
lap record for a 600 at grattan is 1:18 or 1:19nelson winners typically run 1:08-1:10, novice mid pack runners are running 1:16-1:22mid oh - AMA SS winning lap time this past year was 1:29-1:30, 110% would be 1:42 max to qualify for an AMA event...
