The strippers may work if he removes the deflector. Oh, and his deflector isn't part of the scope mount like some but clips on from the front so it can be removed seperately.But, like you say it might clear just have to try it. A friend of mine had a few of the cheapest 30 rnd. mags and said his never had any issues. I'm gonna give them a try before I throw them in the trash.I also have the stock mag, cleaning kit and furniture. the only thing I dont have is the cleaning rod and bayonet.
