SWing'R Posted April 17, 2012 Report Share Posted April 17, 2012 I took apart four old hard drives I had laying around that crashedyears ago, I got the disks out of them but what is the best way todestroy the disks so I can throw them out and be sure nothing could everbe recovered off of them?? ReconRat Posted April 17, 2012 Report Share Posted April 17, 2012 (edited) If too lazy to get the drill out, hit the disks (the ones inside, lol) with sand paper, both sides.edit: the reason drilling is easy, is you don't have to open the drive, just drill it all, clean through.
