flounder
Ok so I recently picked up a couple of MacBook Pro's and a MacMini server for my guys at work. Ive never been an apple guy so what are the quick hit suggestions from those of you that use them. Ive been playing with it for the last day and I can say that while its a bit of a learning curve over Winbloze, Im really starting to like it, especially the shortcuts. Any Apps you would recommend? CoolWhip
I use Office for Mac just because it is more compatible with everything. Dropbox is great for synching files across devices. Definitely use Timemachine, it has saved my but more than a few times.

JStump
While the iWork suite is nice and opens way quicker than office, it just isn't as feature rich as office if thats what you have been using for 10 years. It is however nice if you just need to type a quick word doc or something because it does save into most of the popular document formats like .doc, I don't think it does .docx yet though.
