idodishez
2009 zx6. Front brakes. Never had to put brakes on. Priced at the dealer today, and they are $160 a set!!!! (apparently 8 pads just on the front). Is this normal???? I don't want to cheap out, but can I assume there are good, if not better options out there than OEM? Where should I look?NoBama 2012

cmh_sprint
I just did EBC HH on the front of my bike, before the Gap trip. $34/set from Iron Pony. It took all of about 30 minutes to do both sides.

serpentracer
Galfer HHglafer sintered pads eat up rotors too fast in my experience. I got over 30k miles out of my stock rotors using ferodo's st pads and my buddy has less than 8k with his galfers and they've chewed up the rotors something fierce. idodishez
Ok. What am I missing here? http://www.shopironpony.com/EBC-Brakes-EBC-BRAKES-FRONT-BRAKE-PADS-detail.htm?productId=17359665&source=ModalFitment&vmid=17639011&ez=2009%20Kawasaki%20ZX600%20Ninja%20ZX-6R~q=fitaa17639011zzisidaa6zz~r=fidaa88zztidaa1438zz~EBC HH show at $95 for one caliper. It's a dual caliper setup on front, so now we're at $190. Am I looking at something wrong? Hoblick, do you sell these? NoBama 2012
QuikAccord
Unfortunately your front brake setup is designed with 4 pads per caliper. Causing the cost to be higher than most other models.

blue03636
http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com/Detail.bok?no=4065This is for both sides. I'm sure Hoblick could price you out on some EBC's and I'm guessing they will be around this price. I'm guessing IP's site might be wrong and the price is for both sides if not screw that and go somewhere else.
