Lost a rider on SR37

RIP.

Curious. The story says he tried to pass a car that ended up turning

and he hit the side of the car. Guessing either it didn't signal or he just

didn't see the signal. But looking at this pic, how did the windshield get

a head shot if he hit the side, you can clearly see the side impact spot.

Unless that's not a head impact on the windshield and just how the window

shattered from the side impact??

He probably hit the support from the side. Had a deer hit mine once and it shattered the window similar to that.

Look at the handlebars in the original story; they are bent forward. The front wheel is kicked left and flattened. Looks like the wheel/forks hit the side of the CRV at the leading edge of the driver's door and his upper body continued forward - hips hitting/bending the bars and shoulders/head folding down and hitting the windshield.
