Actually in the app store, there's a section called "must haves" or "startup collection" or something or other. Have a look at those.Be wary, a lot of "free apps" anymore have content that you must pay for. It's getting annoying. When you view info about an app, check the "top-in app purchases" section to see the kinds of things that people buy. Some just make the app (usually games) easier or more functional and some are absolutely required to get past certain levels or perform specific tasks. I understand they have to make money but damn, charge for the app up front and be done with it.
