Federal law says you can not do so :(, Ohio already considers it an automatic weapon.

That's my point. It's registered as an SBR, not an auto. Ohio doesn't consider it an auto until you insert a 31+ clip.

It's the dangerous ordinance classification that is relevant. The criminal statute isn't possession of full auto, its dangerous ordinance.

Since SBR's are classified as DO by having NFA paperwork, they can have the 31+rd mags.

This has been held up in court in State of Ohio vs. Timothy Terrell.

Got a SBR?

I don't have any "clips" that will hold 30+ rounds so I must be ok right? LOL

And I am working on the SBR still, think of buying a pistol then putting in for the stamp to add the stock. That way I at least have the gun to use while waiting for the stamp in the pistol form.
