Scruit
Just sold my wife a gun. Which means, my wife now wants a gun and I have to buy her one. Wait, what? She's done the women's intro handgun class at Blackwing and she wants a pistol but she wasn't sure what. I have her sold on the DA/SA concept and she's tried my Bersa 380 Thunder and P226 9mm. She has big hands so the larger frame of the Sig fit nicely, but she's leaning towards to Bersa size. We're going to go take a look at the Ruger LCP and LC9 next week. scottb
Congrats on having a wife that shares this hobby. The Beretta Nano is also close in shape and size, but a bit more pricey.I have been looking at the Sccy CPX-1, not a well known brand, but have read positive reviews. imaposer
I bought my wife five guns when she was looking at what she wanted for CCW. She would shoot a friends, or go to the store and handle them, decide she liked it, then after putting more rounds through it, decide she wanted something else. Of course, what did she end up with? She decided she actually did like my XDM I tried to start her on, and wanted one for herself.

MidgetTodd
The XDS is too much gun in too small a package. I defy you to test yourself with that gun in a multiple assailant type drill. The recoil is completely prohibitive of accurate follow up shots.

Scruit
The diamondback will jam if you pull the trigger after the bolt locks back on an empty mag? No thanks.
