Suppressor Owners - NFA Laws Re:Trusts Changing?

I've seen some mentioning on other sites that suppressor manufacturers at SHOT Show were stating that we might see the CLEO requirement for suppressors go away in 2013. Approval from CLEO would no longer be required, but you would still be required to notify them.

But... they were also saying that if you have an NFA trust, anyone named as a possible successor of your trust would need to be fingerprinted and have a background check.

Anyone else heard anything along these lines?

These were suggestions put forth by someone (ATF?) for future consideration. I have heard nothing of them actually being considered at this point. That being said, if my tax return will support it, I'll be ordering up a .308 can as soon as possible.
