Gump
70,000 miles. $7900. 30mpgAnyone know much about these? My father is interested in it. Price about average $7000 be better. I had two BMW's. 1 I think was a 740 but I can't remember the year. They were always reliable. Looking for negatives on the reliability side of this year. shittygsxr
Price is way to high.
Bad324
yea even though for the low miles I'd think the price would be better suited at 6000-6500. Correct me if I'm wrong though shitty, older BMW's not named M3 aren't my strong suit
jester3681
Price is high and older BMWs will nickel and dime you to death. Those 740s were top of the line, $80,000 cars. They were technical marvels, with all sorts of easily broken electronic do-dads. Parts are priced accordingly - expensive. 7-series BMWs also hold their value like a porn star after 30. Gump
I think I seem to remember a $1000 scheduled timing chain/belt replacement.
shittygsxr
Average at dealer auction is $2200 with avg miles of 98k. Since you are not a dealer and miles are lower 4-5 is where I would try to be. Unless it is an exceptionally well maintained vehicle or has newer tires and brakes. shittygsxr
Prices on used cars go up around tax return time.
Gump
$2200 seems unrealistic even for dealer unless its a piece of shit.
shittygsxr
$2200 seems unrealistic even for dealer unless its a piece of shit.I just looked it up. The cost of repair to ballerness ratio makes it an inexpensive car. If it was a 750 then the price would be a bit closer
