Hey everyone, I'm a college student (accounting major) living in the Pataskala/Reynoldsburg/Blacklick area and going to college in Longview Texas. Remember hearing about ColumbusRacing.com a while ago, I believe from ClubGP, and I finally just now got around to checking it out. I drive a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT with a L67 swap and a few mods. Here are some pics of it from last summer after I spent way too much time detailing it (yes I suck at taking pics ) http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc49/sethman62387/Grand%20Prix/PICT0182.jpg http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc49/sethman62387/Grand%20Prix/PICT0171.jpg http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc49/sethman62387/Grand%20Prix/PICT0168.jpg http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc49/sethman62387/Grand%20Prix/n159100332_30190158_8549.jpg Only difference since those pics is new intake and I got these rims and have them on from time to time... http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc49/sethman62387/Grand%20Prix/se_kv5_s_ci3_l.jpg I currently work in audio/video/lighting and really like it. I'm considering pursuing it after I graduate next year... Hoping to be back in town before the Columbus Racing day at National Trails, although doubting it at this point.2 points

So, I am new...on here because my BF is into cars...as he likes to say, he is the one with the blue dorito (although that thing has been long gone). I would like to learn more about cars so that I know what is going on when we are together at shows and races.1 point

I haven't been on the site for a while and I see you guys made some changes. Anyway, as for my introduction I am Drew and from Westerville. I drive an 01 Mustang GT, and I have met some of you last year at the Quaker Steak on Polaris. I hope to attend more functions this year, and am looking forward to talking with some of you again. I just hope we have a good summer. Thanks1 point

I have had my si since last october and am looking to put a CAI on it. I have read and heard numerous things. I have heard that a short ram is no good because it might be taking in even hotter air than the stock intake leading to a hp loss. The best thing i have seen so far and have been told about it the Injen. The gains look pretty good and i hear that its suppose to make the engine, especially VTEC louder. My only worry is the possibility of drowning the engine. I have only heard one case of this from a friend who accidently hit a massive puddle. He said it drove home but didnt drive great. I guess he got the water out to problem. But i would rather not have to worry about. If anyone has some feedback or another suggestion please let me know. Much thanks.1 point

Yes, your brother is a negative bastard. When he tries to get us down, I just tell him he's old and bald. He cries, and then we all feel better.1 point

Some may know already that I'm moving south to Charlotte, North Carolina. I was offered a position over the weekend and have put in my two weeks at PAC Racing Springs only after a couple of years there. I am now going to be working for Roush-Yates Race Engines as a Valve train/Spring designer. I will be in charge of developing the valvetrain of all the Fords in the Sprint Cup Series, 30 or so Busch/trucks teams, and mod motors in the Daytona Prototypes. I'll be mainly focusing on the Cup engines though. Believe me I'm not the biggest Nascar fan, but the technology/resources that goes into the power train developement is mind boggling. No it's not F1, but they share a lot of the same test equipment (AVL transient engine dynos for example). They are also one of the most respected Cup Engine shops. I'm looking forward to my new career path. I'll still be in Columbus once in a while. After I purchase my first house in the next few months (which I would never buy in Detroit) I'll be looking for a new toy. (Probably a "almost new" LS3 Vette or something similar.)0 points

Tell them to go in the bathroom and talk to themselves. I believe that you are what you think about and in their case, if they want to be a negative loser than go right ahead but do it alone. I'm a cautious person who prepares for all types of possibly negative shit, but have no place for negative people in my world. Sounds harsh, but the one thing I'm not is a sounding board for everyone elses shit. I deal with my own and expect the same in return. Asking for help is okay, bitching is not.0 points

Sounds like my brother. Now mix that with drinking every night and you have a real ball of fun on your hands. I normally just ignore it or make fun of him about it. Eventually he shuts up. -Marc0 points

I have one sitting in my garage with an auto trans. Runs good. I have a video of it running before I pulled it. I think it has around 100k on it. I'd like to get $350 for it, but we can talk.0 points
