Ok I'm gonna try to go thru these and try to make some points that you can understand without sounding like too much of an ass because I've met you and think you're an alright guy. You're bringing up the CSBA rides and "keeping up" I'm stepping in here because as you know the CSBA rides are what I'm part of...... Your mentality is what causes most all the crashes we've had on our rides "actually ALL but 1" The last 2 seasons we've had crashes on all but one of our rides and all but 1 were young riders trying to keep up. You dont need a faster bigger bike to keep up, you need to be a better rider. We are not faster than you because we have 1000's and do 140+. We are faster because we carry our corner speed and you burn your brakes up scrubing speed then run wide open in the straights to catch up. You're going to do the same thing on a bigger bike and run hotter into a corner and then well.......... fall down go boom. When John or myself lead we almost always stay right around 75ish, any bike will do that. We just dont slow down for the corner. This furthers what I just said. And this No, you're not I've rode behind you and no you're not. As I've mentioned before, raise the bike back to stock height get the suspension set right and a real set of tires on it then head to the track. You will find that bike is capable of more than you are. Riding everyday up and down straight roads and around town does not make one a skilled rider.3 points

The crops are down so it is time to do some shooting. Saturday October 30th. Noon until ??????. I guess until it is time to hit the Holloween partay. I am about 15-20 minutes from Gahanna so it's a short drive from Sunbury to the party. Bring whatever you would like to shoot. there are some huge dirt mounds in the field out back. I'm not sure about the distance but I think we could probably set up for somewhere in the 200 - 300 yard range if anyone wants to shoot a bit further than the standard 100. I am somewhat limited on target stands. I have two real estate signs that we can tape targets to, but that is about it. I only have a hand thrower for clay pigeons so if anyone has a better thrower that we could use please bring it along. I have two block targets for archery. If you have any targets, firearm or archery, that are easily transportable please bring them along. We will be setting up in a field so bring a truck or your beater car if you don't want to drive your nice stuff through a field. If you only have a car you can throw your stuff in my truck to take it out back. I will have the basics available for lunch, burgers(venison), dogs, tater salad, chips, pop & water. BYOB. Please PM me for directions and to let me know if you plan to attend. I would like to have some idea of who is coming so I can buy food accordingly.1 point

They have very clever disguises now, you can not rule that out. I saw one the other day in Ravenna dressed as a bald guy,,,,,, but the scarf gave it away.1 point

It won't let me rep you again, so I'm quoting and not adding shit because you're spot the fuck on.1 point

you're still missing the point. Top speed doesn't matter when keeping up on those rides. Handling and rider skill is what it takes, I for one lack the rider skill but then again have only been on a handful of spirited rides myself.1 point

No offense, but the 1000 sounds like a pile. Hence, why he's wanting to trade. I hate to break it to you, as i'm sure you can guess by now...not alot of people would trade for a kat. They aren't terrible bikes, but like the kids being looked over for dodge ball, they're slow and heavy. Great starter...or girl bikes. Anything other than that...well...you can take a guess. As it's been stated before, the 1000 would be almost a night and day difference in performance. My advice? Clean the Kat up. Sell for it as much as you can, (might be a little tough with winter coming, but could try spring) and save a grand or 2. By spring, you could be a little closer to the big boy bikes. Good luck.1 point

That's sad because it really puts the perspective on how bad the last guy was. Getting an award just for taking his place.1 point

Don't burden yourself with possessions that remind you of them; burden yourself with the grief you feel at the loss of a loved one. You won't be sad about getting rid of something that reminds you of them, you'll be sad because it pains you to think of life without them. You know your mother and grandmother would gladly put those things in the trash if they thought it'd make it easier to cope with their passing, wouldn't they? Of course there are some things that you shouldn't get rid of, things that will mean something to later generations of family, but it is no disrespect to their memory to allow others to enjoy what only brings you sadness. When we leave this earth, all that endures is memory and the rippling influence of our lives in the world. Whether or not it is recognized by anyone, you can help your mother and grandmother make the world slightly happier by letting someone else derive happiness from their lives.1 point
