  3. Thanks for the add! SO I finally decided to join CR and as it goes here is my introduction. My name is Brooks Church. I am 23 years old currently living in New Albany, OH and I am a fulltime Firefighter/ Paramedic at Harlem Twp. Fire Dept. I have been in the car scene for a long time. I started off working at Passen Motorsports when I was 16 years old with kelley mossgrove, eric hargett, mike wagen, wyan chockenbong, & drew sholtz, and terrorizing the street in my 98 S10. Shortly after Passen turned into auto exotica I quit the shop and bought a 1990 miata and decided that I want to start drifting. http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff9/luckydrifting/Old%20Busted/CAQK84I3.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff9/luckydrifting/Old%20Busted/DSC01654.jpg Sold it and then bought a highly modded miata, sold some parts and turned it into my new drift car. http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff9/luckydrifting/3474234681_b4f94eb600_o.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff9/luckydrifting/mmmmpochie.jpg Then traded that for a Sil-80 http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff9/luckydrifting/Teh%20Sil-80/DSC04399.jpg Then turned it into my current drift car. http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff9/luckydrifting/Teh%20Sil-80/8122_1226202967935_1014840804_71368.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff9/luckydrifting/5013879642_84d58aaf52_b.jpg Current Daily is a IS300. 6. Hey everyone! My name is Josh. I'm a lab manager in one of the labs at Ohio State and have a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Cincinnati. I used to be part of Cincinnati Street Racing, but moved up here over a year ago and have been looking for a local forum where I can get to meet some more car people. My interest in mostly in Hondas because they've always been reliable and a part of my family (my Grandpa still has his 1978 Civic stationwagon w/ pimp blue vinyl interior ). However, my dad has always loved big muscle cars, so C3 Corvettes have always been up there on my "To Own" list. Last week, I sold my 97 Prelude because the price I got out of it was great. I'm currently looking for a 2nd generation CRX to replace it as my daily driver. You might think of me as a ricer because of this, but I've got nice little project sitting in my backyard... a 1948 Diamond T Dump Truck! The plan is to make a rat rod - chop & drop it, refinish the interior and top it all off with Cadillac 500ci V8. I hope this gives you all a little insight as to who I am. I look forward to meeting everyone. Thanks for having me! 9. Why do some riders insist on a loud exhaust? Aside from the whole loud pipes save lives bs, what is the allure? A relatively quiet exhaust can provide as good as or better performance as straight pipes. What is the reason for all the loudness? Do these riders think anyone wants to hear their bike? Do they think that obnoxious behavior endures the public to motorcycling? What is the reason? Is it to compensate for another deficiency?
