I am utterly disappointed in the people that aren't impressed by this. I really feel that if you aren't impressed, you aren't quite grasping what's being accomplished here. Think of the age an english-speaking human being has to be to even be able to comprehend the kind of advanced vernacular and wordplay used in a game like Jeopardy. That's all those years of using the language and learning the nuances every single day. This computer accomplishes the comprehension of all that advanced wordplay mathematically, using deep-rooted combinatorial algorithms. The point of this exercise isn't looking up the information. That's not the impressive part. The impressive part is the real-time interpretation of extremely high-level language usages, and crafting a comprehensive and coherent response to a question requiring an answer that lots of people don't even understand.

I just drove to Pittsburgh and back today for business, and filled up my Passat at 5:30am with premium at the TA off of 70 in Hebron. Unfortunately, after I filled it up, I realized that this TA was distributing Amoco/BP fuel. I remember the "What gas u use" thread a few weeks ago. Bah...no problem, I thought. I'll burn through this tank and fill up on my way home. Won't be a problem. All those paranoid BP-naysayers are full of crap. Well....ALL THROUGH OH, WV, PA and back the car was bucking under acceleration like the timing was off or it needed a tune up. With 107k miles, I thought there may be a mechanical problem. Then, I realized it coooouuuld be the BP gas... I burned through the tank by the afternoon. I intentionally went to a Shell station to get their 93 octane on my way back home this afternoon. IMMEDIATELY the hesitation and rough idle went away. Unbelievable. From now on, I'm staying the F away from BP!!!!

...you turn your sport bike into a touring bike. I just finished getting my Givi case set up on Z1000 by modifying the rear seat to accept their mounting bracket. I know Givi makes a rear luggage rack for the Z1000, but I think it's ugly. Once I buy a second rear seat, I'll be able to switch out the modified seat with the stock one in seconds. This was my second attempt, the seat I bought on ebay was for a first gen Z1000 or 636. Oops. I'll sell that seat in a separate thread. I still have a few more things planned for the Z1000 touring wise, I'll update here as I get them. Onto the pics!

after the bullshit with last year's Roll On Columbus (riding non-street legal quads on the street, general asshattery) I'd avoid that advice. Justin, if you supply the bikes I'll be happy to flail myself around in death-defying (hopefully) positions for the amusement of all, no charge.
