OP has about as much etiquette and discretion as a bull in a china shop based on the majority of his posts. Fits his age IMO. Comment is not meant as an attack just an observation of the age group. I was like that once but age is good for some things.

Whenever i have joined a forum in the past i dive right in and try and become as active as i can muster and meet as many people as i can. Im sorry that it came off as a forum whoring noob, but i am involved now and the posts will deplete i am very enthusiastic about bikes and love riding. I dont like argueing on forums but in all defense. Who really just shuts up when someone says something...lol I am only 19 but i have moved a shit ton in my life and been forced to mature fast. I love networking and dont want to leave any sore feelings behind, i dont like burning bridges even when neccesary. I am alot different in person and you guys will notice how i change now that i have jumped in and commented on the past stuff and now i will just blend into the crowd and enjoy my time here Hope noone has any hard feelings.

Hi all, my name is Bret. I have lived in Columbus for a few years now, but don't have any real friends in the area who are fellow enthusiasts. I have been into cars since I was little and I just love all things high performance. I have two cars currently. My daily driver is a 2004 VW Jetta GLI 1.8T which I love! Its almost completely stock, and I am trying hard to keep it that way. I am also finishing up a 1990 Eagle Talon TSi AWD which has turned into a couple year project. It should finally see the road in the next few weeks, which will be the first time since like 1998 or something crazy like that! I bought the car two years ago from a guy who had it sitting in his garage all tore apart since like 1999. The motor is now completely built and I'm just trying to wrap up some details so I can finally drive it. I'm just running a small 16G for now, but have plans to do some upgrading over this coming winter. I would really like to get involved with the group, as I tend to be shy and have a hard time making new friends. I have lots of friends back where I grew up around Akron-Canton, but would like to have some pals in Columbus. I look forward to meeting many of you and having a kick ass summer. I'm sure you meant well Ringo. And what's going on with everyone's comments about all your other post; well it's just that whole first impression thing and you came out of the gate running and it's natural for people to react the way they have been to you. I bet your a great guy and mean well and I hope I get the chance to meet you some day just as I wish to meet everyone else some day. After all we're all on here for one reason, motorcycles and the interaction that comes with it. Oops, that's two reasons. But any way, don't let all this crap discourage you from staying on the forum and once people get to know you, hopefully they can change their view about you. You seem very enthusiastic and out going but sometime that can work against you. Like I said before, just tone it down a bit, let people get to know you a little and then let all hell break lose! And for everyone else that's been bashing him, how about we give the guy a chance and back off a little. Just sayin!

i dont see the big deal to be honest....i dont smoke, but that doesnt mean other people shouldnt. this is a free country, if they want to do it, they should be allowed to. especially if they have a legit medical reason.
