I know that you probably don't want to look at it this way but, just looking at the truck reminds you of your grandpa. Your Dad wants to work on it. Do what you can and have great memories of working on it together. That is way more important than having it finished. My grandfather was a huge influence in my life, it is strange but every time I clean a fish it is because he taught me how. So, when I fish I honor his legacy. When my dad and I fish we always talk about how funny grandpa was. Keep that kind of legacy and you never die.

Oh I've got plenty of spares. I told Patrick last night t was a trial by fore. It had a total of 15 miles at that point. But it pulled strong, gave the typical messy cruise running. Needs the taller tires for sure. The 195/60-14's certainly don't help for anything except for rolling smoke shows at 75.

Hi my name is Dave. I heard about this site from a couple guys that are on here and hope to get some good info from this site. I live in Reynoldsburg but I actually work out in Hebron near National Trail Raceway so I am out that way a lot. I am a Camaro guy, but my new ride I just got is an 01 Monte Carlo. Unfortunately it isn't the SS, just the 3.4 liter LS. The only thing I have done to it so far is replace the air intake. (which actually raised my mpg's from 23.6 to 28.2 and counting) Next up is probably going to be a new intake manifold, headers, and exhaust before I get to the real ballsy stuff.
