Just rolling in to say hey! I got a new mustang this summer, and wanted to get together with a good group,,, I picked up a 2012 Roush Stage 3 Mustang and will be getting it dynotuned next week by a local tuner. I traded in a 2010 Roush 427. Only mods so far are pulley/belt/colder plugs/Billet hood struts/catch can. This car is a driver, and will not sit in the garage much,, not sure yet if it going to be living at Mid Ohio track , or at The National Trails. Looking to get together with some of you on Oct. 7th out at the National Trails. http://i748.photobucket.com/albums/xx130/greensway/RS3/2011-06-25205407-2.jpg http://i748.photobucket.com/albums/xx130/greensway/RS3/2011-06-24203135-1.jpg As long as I am going to be getting kinda voted in here,,, how about voting for these shoes also.... don't judge me on the shoes, I do not have them yet, just seeing if you all think I can pull them off! http://i748.photobucket.com/albums/xx130/greensway/RS3/nikegreenswoop.jpg5 points

K, I talked to my brother's friend's golf buddy's cousin's neighbor who says on a 4-lane road you have to get out of the car and limbo-dance the whole length of the bus before you can proceed. ORC must be wrong.2 points

Damn, go ride your bikes or have a drink and quit being so fucking serious. Yes AIDS is horrible but the joke is the title of the article. I fail at trying to inject humor on a Friday night.1 point

I am Probably (75% chance) going to be able to make it tomorrow..but unfortunately, my bike isn't how I was hoping. I didn't get a chance to switch to my Yosh pipes, switch out my brake line, or a couple other small things. I did get around to fixing my luggage though! I know that I Should have asked for help, but you know me..I am just too stubborn. You planning on leaving at 8, or have some morning plans?1 point

I had to go to CVS today, cruised in front and swung around to a parking space. Got off and took my glasses off and started to pull my helmet off. I hear: "Only Pussies wear gear". I finish my removal, spin around and see no one, no cars with people, no cars rolling by. I keep looking and then see this little sawed off shit peeking around a pillar in front of the store. I take my 6'3", 250lb. bald headed, go-teed chin, and strole his way. He makes a be-line into Kroger in definate retreat mode. I decided not to go in and try to educate an idiot. Or something like that. So....I was just wondering what the masses on here might do. Be nice now, some people can't control what their inbreed parents did. Anyway, ride safe all, and ATGATT, no matter what some people would say. Greg1 point

Why would anyone paint butt cheeks, two cocks, and one huge sperm on a car?1 point

We are moving soon, and are getting stuff ready for a garage sale. Oh, joy. I have some motorcycle stuff that I won't be using, and I figured I'd take a half hour and put it on Ohio Riders (and ADV) before it goes into the (literal) garage sale. A lot of this stuff is very well used and may be cosmetically ... ummm... impaired. But, it is cheap, and if you are looking for serviceable stuff for just a little scratch, here ya go. Everything is sold minus shipping costs; so be sure and figure a few extra bucks if you want it shipped. All items are Paypal payment only. Any questions, email me directly: markmeftah@yahoo.com. Offers welcome. Local pickup encouraged (OH 43338). Here we go: Garmin / RAM stuff: RAM 4" extension - used - $8.00 RAM Garmin Etrex Legend cradle and ball (fits ETrex Venture CX for sure) - used - $8 RAM handlebar mount, buts, U bolt, and 1/2 plastic spacer - used - $8 RAM Garmin Nuvi 200/205 cradle with ball - new - $10 (I have TWO) Wolfman strap kit for Explorer, Ex Lite, and similar 4 point Wolfman bags, with all straps and buckles, uncut; goes around steering head in front and frame tubes at rear, works on DR, DRZ, KLR, WR, others - used but very little, mainly just dirty - $8 Oakley adult MX goggles - new / with Progrip strap - used (I took the strap off for some reason and misplaced it (?) so I had to install the Progrip strap - it is a bit stretched but works fine) - $8 MSR pants, 36" inseam, over the boot style with 1/4 leg zips on the lower legs; these have been crashed and have small scuffs and a few <1" rips on the right leg; the interior wicking liner also only goes to the knees, not all the way down the leg, and as you can see they are dirty as hell - used - $10 Camelback backpack, holds up to 2L hydration bag (no bag included) - used - $5; I can also include a used non-camelbak 1.5 L bag with tube and mouthpiece for $5 more (always cleaned and frozen immediately after rides) MSR small jersey (cut pretty big though, more like a M at least) - new - though it has been sitting in my garage for a few years - $5 Stearns ATV seat pad, fits great on KLR / DR / etc., with 3x straps and fastex buckles - used - $8 Sunline AV-One aluminum bars, 7/8", CR HI cut, with pad - new w/ tag - $10 DR650SE 15T front sprocket and washers, sprocket cover - used - $5 Sunline bar pads (2) - used but may as well be new - FREE Assorted handlebar mounts and such - used - $5 Bar ends for 7/8" bars, Suzuki OEM off a DR650SE - used - $10 DL650 (possibly DL1000) skid plate, beat to shit, with hardware but most of it is cobbled together, you will have to do some creative engineering with this - used - FREE Moose Racing front fender bag for spare tube and irons, straps over fender, includes fastex buckles, one strap is a little frayed but it functions great - used - $8 WR250R / X OEM clutch lever - new; and WR250R / X OEM shift lever, end broken off and drilled out with a bolt and rubber cover, good for backup or emergencies - used - both for $10 WR250R / X OEM mirrors, both sides, missing rubber nut covers (round mirrors in picture) - used - $10 DL650 OEM mirror, right side only (square mirror in picture) - used - $8 DR650SE OEM yellow hand guards with mounting nuts, washers, screw (no long bolts) - used - $10 SIDI Discovery boots (on left in picture), size 12, leather shifter tabs are long since missing, boots are still solid despite being ugly pieces of shit - used - $15 Tour Master Solution waterproof boots (on right), size 12, dirty with caked on / in grime but still waterproof with good velcro and good zippers, still got a good bit of life left - used - $15 HJC CL15 street helmet (on left), with Echo quick release, XL, face shield could be replaced due to scratching but it is still serviceable; helmet itself is in fine shape, I used it as a dual sport helmet so as to not tear up my nice one in the woods - used - $8 GMax 56X off road helmet (on right), XL, with Echo quick release - missing plastic covers on rear exhaust vent holes- used - $8 Joe Rocket jacket, size...L (?? unsure, no tag; it fits me in the body and arms but is tight around the waist, I normally wear a L or XL and have a 38" waist), no armor, patches from trips and such, kind of cool looking and a nice around town jacket - used - $10 Nelson Rigg rear seat / rack bag, black cordura, a little faded from the sun but the photo makes it look a LOT more purple than it really is, with internal bungees, two pockets, inner mesh pockets, raincover, dimensions - 12" W x 9" H x 9" D - used - $20 Not shown and I have no idea why because I sure as hell took the pictures: Enduro Engineering barkbusters, for 7/8 alum bars, black metal with "MJ USA" engraved on each, one is tweaked a bit but can be straightened, with mounting hardware and handlebar mounts EXCEPT no front facing button head bolts to attach the inner section of the barkbuster to the handlebar mount, should be easy to find a bolt for that - used - $8 DR650SE license plate light, wiring (uncut) with plug, and bolts - used but looks new - $10 That's it for now. Ummm.. I believe the word you are looking for is "woman". How ironic that you made yourself look like a moron while trying to make a stab at female intelligence.1 point

Now that we've all agreed to disagree on this topic, the whole "my friend is a cop" argument doesn't always hold water. 1) the law changes from time to time. I believe we proved that in this thread, where two different wordings of the same basic statute were posted. One said "divided highway," and one said "divided highway, or any road with four or more lanes." Trust me; cops aren't getting urgent emails notifying them of such changes. There are hundreds a year. 2) Police officers are human. they make mistakes. they forget things. etc. 3) Police officers generally know their shit, but it's impossible to have every minute detail of the ORC memorized; especially for scenarios that are relatively infrequent, and not life-threatening. I spent 1 day with my buddy Scott in the Elyria prosecutor's office, and no less than 3 times, police officers came in with questions for him about various laws. The officers asked because they didn't know. Scott knew 1/3 times, and had to look up the other 2. Even then, LAWS ARE SUBJECT TO INTERPRETATION, which is why we have courts. As noted earlier, if the law was worded "divided highway" in the past, I believe there was some serious ambiguity as to whether or not that "divide" has to be a physical barrier, or simply a painted line. And so on... Police officers are probably right 85% of the time, but not always.1 point

Why are people still arguing this? I posted the EXACT text from the Ohio Digest of Motor Vehicle Laws. It says ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about divided highways anymore. It is strictly four lanes or more. It cannot be any more clear than that. I don't care what your LEO friend says, it's written plain and simple. If they want to stop someone, fine, they're in the wrong, and they can have fun being laughed at by the judge. Sheesh, people are freaking dense. EDIT: I suppose saying it was unnecessary to clarify was wrong, in fact, I shall quote it so maybe people will actually read it this time.1 point

Hello everyone, I live in GC and recently purchased an 06 Mustang GT. Wanted to join CR because I know others who have joined and know that it is a great place to get ideas and learn about your car. Working on getting some pics loaded.0 points

Well actually, the owner of the car doesn't live here. It came from Indianapolis like that. But this town is full of them, especially due to Honda plant being down the road. Go out to MCIR on Friday nights, and usually can find several of them out there. Andy, no. Kyle needs to stop buying these things! I am always fixing them. He has this thing about buying riced out cars because they have a turbocharged engine. The first car he bought was a 95 Eclipse GS with a Hahn Racecrap turbo kit that had neons and stickers all over it. I stripped it bare and only used the turbo and manifold from that kit (since the kit was horrid and cheap), made my own fmic, and ran megasquirt on it.-1 points
