So instead of complaining why not be happy that another reason has been found that appeals to another group of people?2 points

Then we all go into Craigs trailer and shut the doors, it only hurts for a second. Or any trailer really will do, sometimes we use Brandons and include Jinu's dog Gatsby, he likes peanut butter.1 point

My answer is look it up your goddamn self. This isn't your own personal Livejournal. We're all about giving noobs starting out advice, until they show that all they are are postwhores and completely ignore valid advice from experienced riders (Brian) and mechanics (Isaac's Papa). You got Google on your phone? Get fucking cracking.1 point

Media of any stripe have proven themselves utterly incapable of covering this impartially and objectively, therefore I'm not paying any attention to anything they are saying short of "this happened in the Zimmerman trial today". Media enhancements, image and audio manipulations, all that have more or less proved themselves to be completely full of shit, even moreso the bloviating heads that incessantly feel the need to comment on the smallest minutiae detail for the next 24 hours. Facts will come out at the trial, everything else is just bullshit hearsay and wild speculation.1 point

Your problem is voltage bleed between the right and left blinker banks through the indicator lamp on your gauge cluster. Easiest fix is to wire stock blinkers in parallel up front, wrap in foil and tape and hide inside fairings. Why you ask? LED signals offer super low resistance. Your blinker system relies on resistance to function properly. In the absence of the resistance it wants, your blinkers go too fast, there's extra voltage, the gauge cluster indicator lamp is a bridge to another circuit, so it goes over there and lights them up. A more expensive option would to get some load resistors or a special LED blinker unit or maybe both. Wiring in a set of stock incandescent blinkers will supply the circuit with the resistance it needs to function.1 point

The turn signal fluid might be low. I'd check to make sure there's not a leak, because turn signal fluid leaks are one of the primary reasons for losing rear traction.1 point

I don't know why I'm wasting my time on this, since you don't seem to listen to advice too well, but here's hoping. Turn signals: Are there any signal lights that aren't working, front or rear? It's possible that one of them might have had their filament broken on the lowside. Some modern bikes, when they detect a bad bulb, they'll flash fast instead of the regular flash. From what i understand, the Ninja 250's don't have hazard light capability (all 4 lights flash at once) Could the relay have taken a hit? That being said, if it's not an easy fix like replacing a bulb or relay, given the level of knowledge you seem to possess and my personal experiences taking down the plastics on my 600RR, I find it HIGHLY unlikely that you are going to tear down the fairings, find the problem, fix the problem, do proper damage inspection, and reassemble everything to your satisfaction on a bike that you have never worked on before in less than 2 hours. I'm not saying that to be snarky, I'm saying that because in all probability it's true. If you're taking everything off after a crash, you should be checking for damage. Any bent or dented pieces of essential subsystems (engine, suspension, electrical, things like that) should be researched and replaced if needed. Scratched pieces and scuffed damage should be noted for future reference, especially if you intend to resell the bike at a later time. Screws you should be able to get from a Kawi OEM part dealer. You might need to purchase the whole bar end as an assembly, but it's possible you could get just the screw.1 point

Well put together all around. I'm not usually a fan of music in riding vids, but I salute your taste in this case.1 point

Why exactly do you need more power from your 1000RR on your daily drive? I usually add 62% 93 Octane/17% Shredded Owner's Manual/18% Troll Jizz. Yesterday on the way to work, I got 87 mpg.1 point

When my girlfriend and I got a house together after dating 5 years I made sure I could afford it without her in case anything happened. I put the house in only my name and when she contributed money toward the down payment I had her sign a document that it was a gift to me and not directly for the down payment. Even though it all went to the down payment I always make sure my ass is covered. Also, when she contributed to the monthly payments I recorded it as rent and not a house payment. Long story short.. she cheated on me with her boss at Sears. I found out. I kicked her out. She is back living with her parents. Even though it's only me paying all the bills, I end up with more money to save at the end of the month. She spent way more than she made. I am a minimalist, she was not. After being broken up 8 or 9 months I am much happier and much healthier (mentally and physically). You tend to forget how much you enjoyed hanging out with friends. Some of you are lucky though, and married your best friend Hopefully us single people will all get to do the same. Moral of the story... The way I see it, you can always plan for the worst. And just to add... Her boss at Sears was married with a kid and 11 years older than her (she was 20). When we broke up she quickly found out he had no plans on leaving his marriage for her and stopped talking to her. Another thing I learned from all this... While dating her I had stopped talking to a lot of my good friends for a few years and focused only on her. When we broke up they showed up at my house and talked with me for a few hours then took me out to have some fun. So now I know, your true friends will always be there for you, and you always make sure you are there for them. 4 months later my best friend had his long term gf cheat on him and they broke up. I returned the favor and showed up at his house and took him out for a good time. edit: Sorry this doesn't read well, lol. I'm at work and kept going back to it while I did other things1 point

Finally got around to strapping my car on the dyno to tune it. We ran into some issues with the boost controller and spark blowout, but over all I am happy with the power it made. It has a ton of power left inside her that will be unlocked this year. 17psi and pump gas, revving to 8500rpms. Video will be coming soon, waiting on friends to send them to me. Big thanks to Steve Wilson (ef8sirjunkie) for the tune and Dyno Brian (DynoTune Motorsports) for allowing us access to his dyno and dealing with my friends for hours haha. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Car%20Pics/4dr%20GSR/dyno.jpg0 points
