hello all, Iam from the cleveland area.name is Jim and i wanted to join columbus racing to expand my knowledge on high performance vehicles .I love all makes and models. i currently have a 97 dodge viper gts twin turbo. car was built by RSI racing in texas. car has twin 62's precision turbo's, corsa exhaust, rsi triple disc clutch, sct tuned, greddy boost controller, and a custom stereo system in it. the motor is completely stock. and producing around 800whp....looking forward to exploring the site...here are some pictures: http://i1163.photobucket.com/albums/q548/jimmy9r/2012-09-24_16-01-44_708_zps5d995e35.jpg http://i1163.photobucket.com/albums/q548/jimmy9r/2012-09-15_14-52-24_523_zpsd83322ba.jpg http://i1163.photobucket.com/albums/q548/jimmy9r/2012-07-28_22-27-41_807_zpsbc5f9296.jpg http://i1163.photobucket.com/albums/q548/jimmy9r/viper_zps07dd8244.jpg http://i1163.photobucket.com/albums/q548/jimmy9r/2012-09-19_19-38-17_555_zps3909253a.jpg2 points

Only was at the track on a stock turbo stock fuel setup and wouldn't shift due to a new , misadjusted clutch setup. Mid 14s at 98 I think. The new setup should go low 11s at 120s. High 10s on race gas and the stars align. I'm planning to have it tuned and be at Norwalk's test and tune Oct 6th, so we will find out what it runs. It has enough turbo, fuel and cam for 500whp- it's a matter of if it will shift decently.2 points

Well I ordered some ammo the other day and I may have had a few too many beers before hand. I meant to order 5.56 but somehow ordered 5.45, since they were right beside each other in my book and the same price I didn't notice until it arrived. So up for sale is 510rds of 60gr 5.45x39 ammo in a .50 cal ammo can, its this stuff http://shop.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=1021236 $120 or trade for some 55gr 5.561 point

I have heard about this new fangled 1080 HD stuff. I might something new(er) this year, and hopefully all the devices will match ( DVD and surround sound. If I want to watch a DVD, I have switch to audio line in 2 - and select tv input = VHS. don't ask about the pile of remotes needed too. I really do have a printed out instructions on how to power up the TV and the audio "system" in case the wife needs to watch a DVD and i am not around....lol I might have to check into the Netflix online with either a Wii, playstation or X-box. ( once i buy a game system)1 point

I seem to do a lot of riding, but never take any pictures. Furthermore, I generally never talk about my rides to very many people. I'll share this ride and couple pictures to go with it... This weekend took me to South Central Missouri, what you may consider the Northern most Ozarks. I'm in awe of all of the roads in that area, and so close to St. Louis. This was my maiden ride on a new to me 2011 Ninja 1000 and let me say that I am in love. A review of that bike needs its own thread at some point in time. Anyway, my father has a Kawasaki C14 and is a member of the Concourse Owners Group. I seem to tag along to a lot of their rally's and this was just another one that was really a great time. We stayed outside of Steelville, MO at the Huzzah Valley campgrounds. There were multiple options for accommodations, tents, cabins, a mini-hotel, hostels. Now on the the roads, they really were amazing. Rt. 19 is a road. MO has some interesting road marks and many are letters, it seems like many of the lettered roads were quite spectacular. Because of my new bike purchase on Thursday morning, we lost a day of riding and didn't get to ride as many roads as we wanted, but the roads we did get to ride were just awesome. Over-all I put 1078 miles on the new bike From Thurs at 2p-Sun 5p. Mine and my fathers bike The bikes and our lodging Riding home today, where we crossed the mighty Mississippi. Chester, IL1 point

I admit, I did take a small jab, but I did also listen to your advice. I wanted to correct you on an OTD price though. All the stock parts(that I have) are also going with the bike. I am willing to put everything back to stock if requested, with the exception of thr exhaust. The rejet was done by a dealer and I would not feel comfortable doing that myself for a few reasons(which I'm sure you already know why). I want to give someone a very fair deal, I do not believe in busting heads. I did my research before throwing a random price out there. Once I place the bike on craigslist I will list it at $3,200 there and see what offers I get if I do not sell it to a fellow OR member. http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=25913 As for the statistics, here is one from ninja 250 owners of this website(keep in mind alot of the I never wrecked/dropped mine are from brand new riders) I'm sure the rate is much higher on bigger bikes Not trying to argue with ya, just pointing out some verified statistics. Also I am not trying to justify the minor damage to the right side of my bike, but as someone on here said alot of learners may not care about looks, but they will want something that runs strong.1 point

PF9 length 5.85 Height 4.3 width .88 Ruger LCP Length 5.16 Height 3.6 Width .82 From my quick online search - Pf9 loaded is 18.1oz, LCP is 11.95, which is about what my kitchen scale showed. So is it an enormous difference? No. But its a bit smaller all around, and weighs 1/3 less than the pf9. When its in my back jersey pocket with little support, i want it light as possible to not sag down and sway around as much as possible1 point

I guess I didn't say what i did over the weekend. Friday night I loaded up some 55gr hornady v-max rounds to test at the range then loaded some dummy rounds for malfunction drills. Saturday I went in the morning to the range early before everyone started showing up so I could test the new loads out of my rifle and not be in the way of anything anyone else wanted to do. By the time I was finished everyone was waiting on me.at the pistol range and we shot some moving drills then some longer range pistol targets. All in all it was a great weekend to be out.1 point

The LOL thread isn't a dumpster for tossing in random shit, it's a thread for posting pictures and video (less than a minute long unless a compilation of less-than-a-minute-long videos) that will literally make people laugh out loud. Not car videos, not 30's single mom magnets, and certainly not decade-old reposts. I don't know why everybody has told you this and you ignore it. Are you that dense? I know you mean well, but stop. Just stop.1 point

Hi My name is Steph Short for Stephane And yes I'm from Canada EH! ;o) I currently am in the process of repairing a 2000 Trans Am WS6 that I bought a year ago with front end damage (I'll have to dig to find some before pictures). It has been a project in the works for a little while. I'm fixing this car to be a street/Strip car and found your forum and though it could be good to talk to my friend from the south that love to race their cars also. The car is ready for paint now. It has long tube headers, lowering springs, magnaflow cat back, slp lid, slp elbow, ported tb, ls6 intake, ls6 valve springs, polyurethane motor, trans and all suspension bushings. EGR deleted, not cats, no rear 02's, when i get this car done I'll have to get the brains tune up on the dyno. Currently looking at doing a C6 brake swap and upgrade the weeks. Hopping to get it all done in the next couple of months.. PS sorry about the original post being so short. Steph1 point

Please, piss off with your righteous indignation. The statement that you made was false, the sources that you linked never at any point said that Obama was releasing Rahman. You're asking us to prove a negative, which is further burying your argument. Then you double-down on the derp by making pseudo-intellectual statements about Obama the Man then get pissy when you receive a response that directly challenges the "facts" and assertions you posted here. If you can't take a political discussion, don't start one to begin with.1 point

You don't need the internet to be a motorcycle rider. I have heard many reasons from some personally that range from not liking all the new people that joined to just getting burned out with the forum. Many reasons why people come and go dude, it's just the internet, life goes on. I don't know how old you are but I'm guessing young because being offline doesn't mean you quit riding.1 point
