  3. My wife asked her what she wanted to be for halloween, and she originally said a police officer. Well looking at Meijer, and walmart, plus the costume stores they didnt have a costume that didnt cost 50+ for a kid, so we talked her out of it. She decided she wanted to be a biker chick instead. Im a proud papa...

  8. sooo... when you were 14, did you or your parents blame the manufacturer of everything that you did stupid dumb shit you did with, or did they just blame you for being a stupid dumb shit? when your cousin, the ruthless ice cold killbot soldier without a mind or a soul that would kill every and any american (including you and his immediate family) that he was ordered to, shot his eye out with a Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle with a compass in the stock while playing "ruthless ice cold killbot soldier", did he blame himself for shooting his eye out, or did he blame Daisy bb guns? please, oh please, regale me with tales of what a great libertarian you are.

  12. We don't have any deer crossing signs where I live thankfully, so that shouldn't be an issue. Thanks for the advice, I keep my visor cracked and that helps with the fog issue, I'll try turning my head next time I ride in the rain.

  21. I will have pictures after this weekend as we are using the trailer for the last dirt track race of the year in Portsmouth this weekend but wanted to toss this on here before the weekend. Looking to sell this, then my enclosed and upgrade to a toy hauler as we look to expand our family and stay in both forms of racing. Trailer is a 1994 Jayco 2650 model, which basically means 27ft, bumper pull, no slides. This is the upgraded version with a middle bathroom and HUGE shower/tub, it's a corner setup and the bathroom is huge all around. Basically the shower was the selling point for us, it's an actual corder shower with a full surround and curtin closure. Rear bedroom, front sofa/bed, fold down dinette, and full kitchen. New within 2 years; water pump, gas water heater, 39gal water holding tank, radial 8 ply tires(including spare), rubber roof coating(this year), thermostat. Bearing repack, trailer brakes adjusted, and holding tanks cleaned. Ducted heat and AC, microwave, 3 burner stove and oven, fridge/freezer, storage under bed, linen closet, hanging clothes closet, all pots/pans, plates, toaster, etc included, ready to go camping. Has 2 TV hookups, outside shower, outside coaxil cable hookup, AM/FM/cassette radio inside, and a ton of other features. We have never gone #2 in it, and always flush tanks after each use and winterize with inline winterize hose. Everything works as it should, I've used the heat, AC, water heater, pump, etc all this year sevearl times, and everything works. No roof leaks, but did have a few leaks around 2 windows last rainy trip but I am sealing those today so should be water tight all around. No soft spots in floor, and only one soft spot behind couch in walls that is not visible when couch is up. Will include a 2-4 inch drop/lift hitch, sway control, and torsion bars with purchase. Weighs abotu 6,500lbs dry, so recommend AT LEAST a F150/1500/similar vehicle. Previous owner used a suburban and said it was fine, I use my F250 and it's fine. I'd like to get what we paid for it as we spent well over $1,000 in new tires, thermostat, roof, and misc others, so price is $3,500, but will listen to offers. Also willing to trade+cash for a toy hauler, but prefer to sell outright. Will have pictures this weekend but have no idea how to add them on here, so posting interest, or PMing me an email would be great. If anyone knows anyone looking to get started in camping this is a great trailer, sleeps 4 easy, and can sleep 6 if 2 are kids. If someone wants to buy this AND my enclosed 6x12 V-nose together I will make a killer deal, but you will have to PM me for those details as I am NOT posting the 6x12 for sale until this is sold, or I find a TH I want. Most can attest I am a very legit seller and anything/everything I will disclose and be totally honest about. John 419-six one zero - five 666

  24. First question, is it your bike that has the issue or your friend? The way its worded confused me. I say if the chain/sprockets conditions are questionable, just replace them. $200 for new equip is cheap when compared to a hospital bill for broken bones or lacerations, not to mention that a broken chain can frag the primary drive case and tail section of the bike if its moving fast enough. The surging issue may not be chain related, and just be coincidence? Broken teeth would let the chain jump over worn or broken teeth, sort of like Brown57's thread pics - that sprocket was past done man! Alignment issues if you'd changed the rear tire and reinstalled it poorly. Usually when the rear wheel is in a bind or out of alignment, symptoms can be the rear brake dragging constantly and/or sprockets will have side wear on the teeth and the insides of the chains link plates will show wear or scoring.

  25. With the chain at proper tension, pull on the chain at 3:00 on the rear sprocket. It should have no more than 3mm of play. If it does, either the chain or sprockets are worn beyond spec. You could push it to 5mm I you're cheap and on a lower powered bike in less danger of snapping a chain, but for $150, why risk it?

  26. Chain or sprockets wouldn't explain surging, unless something is having a huge intermittent dragging effect on your drivetrain. Noise could be worn or under-lubed rollers. What kind of lube did he use? Was the chain good and warm when he put it on? Did he leave it set long enough for the solvent to evaporate? Doesn't do much good to lube a cold chain and then go ride and fling it all off.

  27. Sometimes I wish I would have gotten a bigger bike to start on but I think about the times learning to ride and I come in to hot on a corner or have to steer quickly away from a driver that didn't see me or hammer the brakes when a dog decides it wants to bite my tires and I just know I would have dumped it all of those times if I had a bigger heavier bike. Starting on a lighter bike that I feel I have control over has helped immensely. Plus I never feel the urge to hammer it. It's going nowhere fast lol. Keeps you grounded and using your brain.

  30. Folks calling addictions "diseases" has always bugged the hell out of me. It's not a disease, it's a behavior. The behaviors can certainly lead to diseases, and full-on withdrawal I'm sure feels like all sorts of terrible, but I refuse to label "drinking" and "smoking, injecting, snorting" as disease. Not to jump on you, your advice is sound. Maybe that's a pet peeve of mine.
