Howdy All, I have been in Columbus now for almost 8 years. I came from Jeeps, which I still have my '97 Wrangler, longest vehicle I have ever owned. But, in 08 the wife mandated I get a more "practical" car. So, I did some research as a "boy racer" was not going to fit the bill, I ended on a 2008 Subaru Legacy GT. The LGT fit my needs and came at a price I could afford. Now, this was my first new car, so I wasn't sure where to go from there with this whole warranty business. That scared me a bit, but not for long. I soon ended up with a full turbo back exhaust, TMIC, Cobb Accessport, sways, etc. Enough of that...on to some pics. Back in my university days, I was at a diner cramming for an 8am final. At about 3am or so, my stomach started gurgling. Knew it wouldn’t be good, as my diet at the time was Kroger frozen burritos, Schlitz and coffee. Headed for the restroom, but it was out-of-order and locked. Nothing else was open 24 hours. Started the quick-step home (about a mile)…When I realized I wasn’t going to make it home, I was near my girlfriend’s (now Wife) house. Had a key, so I let myself in. Barely got my drawers dropped in time and fouled the toilet with some sort of toxic sludge. This was a very old house…Was originally the cemetery caretaker house/funeral home, and the plumbing didn’t always work so well. When I flushed, the toiled clogged and started filling toward the brim. Luckily it stopped just before it overflowed. Not knowing what to do about that, I remembered that I had to get back to the diner—I left in such a hurry that I didn’t bother to gather my books and gear. With the bathroom being on the ground level, and the bedrooms (originally showing rooms) being upstairs, neither my girlfriend nor the other two women that lived there woke up to even know I had been there. Got back to the diner, studied until time to get to the exam. Never thought to bring up the event to my girlfriend… Was telling the tale to a friend a few years ago, and the Wife exclaimed “That was YOU?!” Apparently that was a point of controversy and discord between the three ladies for quite a while…none of them would fess up as who had done that and left it there…

Thanks. I asked what happens to non-citizens and he says they are required to show immigration papers. I told him that after filing for a green card it can take up to 3 years to get that green card (it did for me) and during that time there is no paperwork for that person to show. "Oh well". Then we chatted about England and I pointed out that I could never buy ammo like this there - to which he replied "But England is much safer because of it." Me: "Nope, violent crime is twice as high." Him: "Really? Why is that?" Me: "Only the bad guys have guns. The good guys are defenseless."

Ok, so we obviously read his writing style completely differently. This was my main complaint at the end of my reply. His article is so poorly written that two people who both ride and understand motorcycle physics in our own ways come to 2 completely different viewpoints as too what he is trying to imply. I would agree with probably 90% of his statements if somewhere in his writing he would put an obvious statement that the article and his theory is based solely on the dynamics of a cornering bike. I don't feel he makes that clear and his writing can be construed as a train wreck of theory for upright riding mixed with the theory of cornering. I do maintain my statement though about the internet troll bit. The article is written so poorly I would have expected something like that from a troll and not from a motorcycle safety expert. Look over the last page and a half of posts on our forum. The viewpoints are very mixed with nobody agreeing. Is that not what would constitute stirring the shit or trolling on this forum in any other situation? It has caused the two of us to get into a pissing match over who understands his writing style better and it is for no good reason. I have never felt the need before this to question anything you have posted and probably never will in the future either. If the person that wrote the article was on the forum, he would have been called out to explain the meaning of his article and to justify bold statements about motorcycle physics, that depending on the situation, few people can agree with.

Oh no Jenna, that makes me sick to hear that. Life isn't fair many times, and this is a perfect example of why. Prayers out to you and her family for strength and unity, I sincerely hope the baby makes it and is strong and healthy.
