Actually your analogy would be more correct if the dealer wanted 20K and you didn't want to buy a god damn car3 points

Why did you guys start posting that god damn picture when I told you not to? Monte deserves a fresh start on here without being haunted by his past - I've already heard that he's been helping people out left and right at Vance’s and with his new business. Please CR I know how god damn funny that shit is: the infamous picture, the Twinkie pic, video's, ect. I will never deny how hilarious some of this shit has been. But he does contribute somewhat more to the automotive community than the dirty, shitty, low life, less than human, central Ohio filthy trash that lurks on CR. Filling Anthony's poor genius creation with your disgusting and depressing stories of pathetic life situations. Impregnating fat pimply monstrosities of the human race, then having them fucked by someone even more pathetic than yourself. Getting arrested for degenerate and disgraceful behavior that makes me regret being the same species as you. It’s such a long list of shit, sometimes its like Anthony has created this Noah's Ark of Shit and its getting filled with two types of every shitty human being on earth, preparing to float in an already existing shit flood. For what purpose? What is the purpose of your shitty existence?2 points

http://www.cnn.com/2013/01/24/politics/congress-gun-control/index.html?hpt=hp_c3 New reports coming out of CNN seem to show the Sen. Diane Feinstein was in a room with six assault weapons, nearly 6x more than the number used in the Sandy Hook shooting, and appears to have survived. As the photo below shows, she was within mere feet of these deadly devices and somehow emerged unscathed. Details to follow as they become available. #gunskillpeople2 points

The waitresses probably paid it so you would leave and they wouldn't have to hear anymore of the horseshit that was spewing from your mouth.2 points

Ohio Bureau of Commerce Minimum wage complaint form This might work: http://www.com.ohio.gov/laws/docs/dico_MINIMUM_WAGE_COMPLAINT.pdf Instructions: http://www.com.ohio.gov/laws/docs/laws_MINIMUM_WAGE_COMPLAINT_Instructions.pdf or call them and ask: Ohio Bureau of Commerce http://www.com.ohio.gov/Contact.aspx?DivID= Ohio Revised Code: http://codes.ohio.gov/orc/4113.15 http://codes.ohio.gov/orc/4111.10 This is where Isaac's Papa is referring to "only have to pay minimum wage". The law appears to only force a minimum wage payment in the worst case. But the Ohio Bureau of Commerce is where to contact for help and information. edit: checking Department of Labor... Assuming your aiming that at me from your previous statement... I'm pretty sure no one in this thread is looking for an "attaboy" it's just a group of people sharing a few acts of kindness they have done and others have shown them. I'm sure if anyone here wanted any real recognition they would go tell the news about their story... I for one think a thread like this is much deserved considering the amount of threads posted about violence, criminal acts, and corrupt politics. I enjoy reading what good people have done here and how other people have helped them. If you cannot accept that then stuff it, no need to try and derail a perfectly good thread.1 point

I don't do it for the "attaboy" attention, I share so people know there are still good ones left in this world.1 point
-
Maybe I DO do "acts of kindness". I just don't need to post them here in order to get an "attaboy" for them. I have more admiration for those who give anonymously than those who get on the news and give an interview because of it.1 point

I found a wallet left in a grocery cart in the cart return with 700.00 cash, credit cards, id... in it the other day. I used my GPS to find the gentlemans house and went there to return it. He was not home, so I left a note on his door with my contact info for him. When he contacted me I gave him directions to my house so he could get his wallet back. He was so thankful that he was in tears. He tried to give me money as a reward for returning the wallet, but I told him not to worry about it. I had only wished that someone would have done that for me when I lost my wallet. He told me that the money in that wallet was all he had to live off of for the next two weeks.1 point

Did another great deed this week. My neighbor has had a really rough time as of late, she had surgery to fix a pinched intestine and has been on leave from work and we all know how much those FMLA checks pay. She has two teenage kids and called up asking if I had something she could make for the kids to eat she was out of stuff so I told he yes I'd bring something down and I ran to the store and bought her some groceries, she broke done in tears when I kept bringing in bags of food, even stayed and cooked dinner for them. We have known the family for quite a while I treat the son as one of my own seeing as his father isn't worth the air he breaths, hope he takes a lesson away from my act of kindness.1 point

You have to learn to just blow somethings off. With CCW gaining so much popularity it's easy to get yourself killed overreacting.1 point

I dont know why but the greatest collection of nice and polite people are at the Troy YMCA. Everyone from the staff to the members that use it. It's borderline wierd.1 point

It is! Unfortunately, it's just very rare these days which is very sad. It's kind of like a little while ago when I went to the grocery store and as I was pulling into a parking spot, I saw a very elderly man unloading his groceries. When I got out of my car, I noticed 5 people walk past him as he was pushing his cart back towards the store with his trunk still open. That made me mad. I walked up to him and offered to take the cart from him, even though I didnt need a cart. He was very gracious for that. The smile on his face said everything.1 point

True story.... After our business closed in the early '90s, my dad took a job at small community college as a counselor and instructor. When he was diagnosed with cancer, he pulled me aside and gave me a small stack of checks to mail at specific intervals. A few students who needed help thought that they had received scholarships, but it was he who was paying for their school so they would finish. They still don't know to this day. A great man. Cancer takes the best of them.1 point

She was in my truck with it running. She took off towards my brothers house and ran in side. As soon as she made it inside I got there. I'm not the one to jump or fight with weapons. The guy had a gun in his car as well according to his ex gf. Would of been bad if we rushed them. You guys really think I would of left my wife behind?0 points
