Hi, My names Shaun, I recently heard about CR from a couple OhioLS guys (whos names I promptly forgot, sorry) at the JEGS event on saturday. I'm new to CR but not the automotive hobby, and have lived columbus for 6 years now. (originally from Athens) Enough with the boring stuff..... My ride is a Black 2009 Pontiac G8 GT, with the 6.0L V8 and 6sp auto. The car is currently my dd, but I hope to remedy that soon. Appearance mods are pretty much limited to anything that reduces the amount of chrome on the car and adds to the black, lol. Go mods are mild for the time being, but that is also on the list soon. 1 3/4" pacesetter headers 2.5" w/ Xpipe and flowmaster Axlebacks Spectre Intake Intense racing tune I may have some old pics here at work, but will add some when I get home: My dyno numbers were a little dissapointing, but I'll start another thread about that. I hope to get to the track soon, and hopefully meet some fellow members. I welcome any advice from the many experienced LS guys that I'm sure frequent the forum, and will try to help where I can. Thanks, Shaun2 points

So a few people may know Alan (QuikAccord) is a man of many talents. I just wanted to give him some props for the decals that he made for me. I needed some new Yamaha emblems and I wanted a larger Batman logo to put on my bike. He did both of these things in a very quik...turnaround. They were done very well. I also know that Oldschoolsdime92 had some Fazer emblems made that are really sharp as well. On top of making a high quality product he had some very good customer service. He called me to clarify exactly what I wanted, which was awesome. Thanks so much Alan! As a side note he has also fixed some of my neighbor's kids iPods that had broken screens for a really fair price and good turn around. Man of many talents. Here are a few pictures of the his product: I would highly recommend hitting him up with a PM if you need any work done. If this isn't the right section please move it1 point

After only 3 consecutive years there, the place has gotten noticeably shittier along with the service. The maintenance on the cabins has gone to shit. Everyone on the hill seemed to have had some sort of issue that wasn't dealt with by Cletus the maintenance man. They just don't seem to appreciate our business. I say we find a new place.1 point

I just updated my basement with vinyl plank flooring and new carpeting. I used Canal Service Corp. My gf is a property manager for an apartment complex and they do all the carpeting in the apts. They did great work. Not sure if I got a great deal, I spent about 2k total...1100 for the planks and 900 for the carpet. My carpet was pretty expensive/quality stuff. It was recommended that i dont go with that cause it was overkill but it was 900 vs 600 so i went with the softest stuff they had. Contact Matt Thatcher @ mthatcher@canalservicecorp.com for an estimate.1 point

I see no problem here. Open carry is legal. If he has a CHL on a bike (vehicle) he's all good. I don't fret if my jacket comes up over my XD while riding. Why should I? Ruin it for the rest of us? How? Was I "ruining it for the rest of us" when a Burger King employee saw me holstered when I changed my shirt in the parking lot before going in? Sorry, I'm legal. Don't even NEED the CHL I was asked if I had. Yes, the dude on the bike did, as a bike is a vehicle and requires a CHL to carry while "in vehicle". But what makes u think he didn't?
