  3. So I just wanted to post this here and maybe help motivate some others with it. I started my weight loss journey January 1st as the dreadful "I will lose weight this year". . . . and for the first in my adult life I actually stuck to it and just kept going. All I've done is workout 5-6 times a week and eat right. I still have a ways to go. I'm gonna start a CrossFit program and start lifting now. . . my ultimate goal is to build up to strongman stuff. We'll see. Anyway, if anyone could recommend a good CrossFit program or would want to start lifting with me, hit me up! http://i.imgur.com/Uq3eWxb.jpg http://i.imgur.com/wtAPNRd.jpg

  4. So some of my peps back in z-ville post this to me. http://www.seohioauctions.com/auction/208052/terry-and-marian-thompson-auction/ This is the Terry Thompson estate. You might remeber back where he let all his exotics go then killed himself. Before that he use to have a classic car lot and then a HD shop. Lots and lots of stuff up for auction. There are a few in the pics I would like to go and bid on if I had the cash flow.

  5. I went from a 1k supersport (from 97 but still a fast bike) to a bandit 1200 and I love it. If you want torque you can actually use without a flux capacitor, get something along the lines of fz1, b12, zxr, sprint 955, cb1000r, zxr1000.....power on demand. Granted, the r1 has huge balls with barbed wire pubes and it has plenty of low end grunt, but once you pass 6k and come up on the cams it can be super hard to keep the front wheel down and the back one planted. Ride a few sport-standard and sport-touring bikes, see how they feel. My TL1000s was a mean ass machine, run up 1st and 2nd and you're doing 90mph on one wheel, but even with heli bar risers it was a torture rack for anything over 100miles....that full tuck really wears on your neck and wrists. Ride a few bikes, I'd let you take my bandit out for a spin to see how you like it. You don't need 173648 horsepower and 99374 lbs of torque to have fun on a bike.

  6. C7, you are incorrect. The carb DIP will swell rubber. Spray is perfectly fine. If you wanna go water based, 50-50 mix of water and pinesol actually works wonders, boil for a few minutes and soak overnight. Pilot jets are involved from idle to around 1/4 throttle, which is where you usually are when cruising in high gears. I've been at this for a very very long time.

  7. Remember the man code, no conversations, nor eye contact in the men's room, except when washing hands and accidentally make eye contact with someone else washing their hands(via the mirror), then you can do the "Nod".

  12. I lost my basement carpet two weeks ago with the first round of storms. Couch, some baseboards. I'll have some work to do when I get home from vacation. Luckily the toys down there are safe. (TV, pool table, Foosball) My sump was running the whole time. The problem is our neighborhood's storm drainage empties into a tributary of the Black River here in Lorain county. Well, when it swells near its banks, guess there isn't much room for our water to go. It just poured into the basement until it was about 3-4 inches deep in most places. But life could be worse.

  13. I add 1/2 gallon of soap and water every other tank to clean everything out. Ot runs rough when I do but that's how iknow it's working.

  14. Carbs need cleaned. You don't notice it in the lower gears because you accelerate through them. Then when cruising steady in a high gear the problem becomes pronounced enough that you notice. The web is full of decent tech write ups on carb cleaning, all you really need is a few cans of carb and choke cleaner and an air compressor, sounds like a blocked pilot jet, possibly needle jet.

  16. Thanks. It's awesome everytime I look at it. Making it more of a trophy, and not something I do anything with. Todd and Jason, as well as many others, it's been awesome getting to know you guys through bike events and friends. Well worth the thousands I have put into riding to now have friends like you guys.

  18. I'm pretty sure this is a means to get your developer access revoked. Also, it's not like you're paying money for the beta... If you're a dev, it's part of the package. Pretty shady... Just say'n.

  19. It's not dodgy... It's a scam. The dude is trying to make money off of something he didn't buy/make himself. Go ahead and give him your IMIE number... Pay the 10 bucks and enjoy an iOS that's buggy and not complete. Then when it's free in the fall, be pissed cause you got had. The mods should ban this dude for being a douche.
