I too wasn't that big a George fan, but after his crash and plated collar bone deal on the SAME WEEKEND and finishing 5th, I had MUCHO respect. Think Rossi's broken leg, think Pedrosa and George this year and now Marquez and the dislocated shoulder almost winning. The way that kid rides loose, his shoulder had to be killing him... Then there is Spies. Feel kinda bad for the dude, but when these examples come up, I don't have a lot of respect for the guy as a fighter. Rider? Sure. But that's about it... Marquez is amazing and is showing why every weekend. He is making MotoGP worth watching again!!

Would you two just fuck and get it over with? Our country has been going to hell on hockey skates for decades now. Republican, democrat, makes no difference. The waters of politics are so throughly poisoned by corporate glad-handing and special interest now that it doesn't matter what kind of marionette is dancing, the strings all go up to the same hands. It is 3 position adjustable and in the picture is in the full up position. Actually even at that height I'm looking over the top of it. I generally am not a huge fan of big windscreens, but the difference it has made with wind draft at highway speeds is pretty incredible. When it's laid back in the lowest position it doesn't look as large.

So we made it down into WV over the last two days. Was supposed to rain but we went anyway and it was fine. Didn't get wet until just east of Coonville on 56 on the return trip. We stayed in the western part of WV for this trip, will go further out some other time. WV has Good roads in general but the houses seem to crowd the road more than here. And there's more of them and they don't step the speed limit down for the "towns" as much. This is sort of nerve wracking when you are taking a corner and seeing these driveways with some guy's porch 3 feet off the road and his pickup even closer. Wouldn't want to have him take off on a grocery run while I'm rounding the curve. 250 from Moundsville to Fairmont would be a great road but it's in terrible shape. The outsides are crumbling, sometimes three inches down from the rest of the lane. Forces you into the left tire track which makes left turns interesting when there is oncoming traffic. My brother thought it was a riot but he's kinda nuts. Overall fun trip but we had just as much fun on the Ohio roads on the way there and back. My brother lives in Seattle and was amazed at the quality of roads Ohio has. Our scenery certainly can't compete with the Cascades, but the roads are twistier here and more challenging. So day 2 we woke up and it was raining with no sign of it clearing up. 1 guy was hesitant to ride but decided he would go. Then we were all ready to go and the1198 would not start. We tried several fixes from the forums to no avail. The only option was to input the override code but the my friend had no clue what it was because it was at home in his safe with his spare keys. So he said he was fine not going out and the guy who was timid about riding in the rain decided to stay back with him. So 2 of us set out to ride in the rain. We took the million dollar highway to ouray where it finally dried up. We headed upto Ridgeway where we hoped on 62 to placerville. We hopped on 145 to telluride and it started raining on the way but the road was pretty fun regaurdless. The road was pretty awesome to rico and would have been even more of a blast if it was dry.

Picked her up and Derek of course had a great service, gave me a bag of food. She is very loving and is now getting used to the house
