  1. Pardon me, but whatever happened to walking around/behind your vehicle first, to check for obstructions? Has the entire world gone clueless? Or just lazy? Or are we simply "entitled" to just jump into a "deadly device" and drive away?

  2. 2006 Kawasaki ZX-6R LOCATION: Downtown, Columbus, OH 43215VIN: JKBZXJC146A045092ENGINE SIZE: 636ccMILES: 15,615COLOR: BlackTIRES: Good condition, depending on your riding style, could last for most of the riding seasonSTORAGE: Garage kept and currently covered in my garageOWNERS: I am the second owner of the bike. I purchased in May of 2012 from a guy near Pittsburgh, PA. The previous owner took great care and garage-kept the bike as well.TITLE: It has a clean title, but I do have a small lien on the bike so it is not in hand. Easy to take care of though.WHY SELLING? - I just bought a new bike, so this clean baby is ready for a new home. (Preferably one with an experienced and licensed rider who won't trash it.) KIND OF RIDING? - It's a sportbike so I rode it like a sportbike which was on curvy roads and at the track (six track days total - MidO and Grattan). I have no clue how to pop a wheelie so during the time I've had it, the wheels have never left the ground. I would not have bought this bike if it appeared to have been stunted so to my knowledge it never has been.CRASHES? - Nope! But the previous anal-retentive owner dropped it in a gravel drive way and the minor scratches it caused drove him crazy so he replaced all the body work. I do have the original body work as well which you can have. There is a slight scratch on the mirror back side of the mirror as he did not replace that.MODS: In my opinion, modifications to a motorcycle do not increase the value so I did not consider them as part of the price. All stock parts (i.e. rear seat, turn signals, passengar foot pegs, etc.) except for the exhaust (which I don't have) come with the bike if you want them. 3. first off i rarely write good things about dealerships so this is a rare thing lol I popped into Honda Marysville Motorsports today (bought my Honda Grom from them) to talk to the GM Conor. They are a site sponsor now, and he is the one behind the screen name. Had initial stopped into to discuss some other things, but we went from that conversation to a totally different one that was unexpected and i really enjoyed it. I was expressing my thoughts and concerns about the dealership and how things are run and what not. Overall i never really had a terrible experience with them anytime i had stopped in the shop, but thought there were things that could be better. Conor expressed great interest in anyways he could make the experience at HM better. Conor is a pretty cool dude to talk with , and very open minded to things i had to say. He also expressed to me things i really didn't get from the sales guys. Things he is trying to push the sales guys to do. The personal experience and bonding that should take place in visiting the shop. Sharing not only the buying experience, but the passion of motorcycles, and the family atmosphere that goes with it. He had a lot of questions on how to do things on OR.. basic stuff like where to post certain things, and where to put what posts. He wanted to make sure he was following the forum rules, and also wanted to give the most he could to our community. i gave him a few ideas for things he could do for the site and events that Ohio Riders might be interested in. He had a great idea as well. Having one of there certified techs answer questions on the forum, and put up diagrams or things that would help forum members. Along with Forum member discounts for parts and accessories. Overall it was a really nice long talk and i enjoyed it. Very surprised at his attitude and willingness to really be a genuine part of our motorcycle culture. So expect some good things from him, and if your around Marysville you should stop in and bullshit with him and some of the other guys there.

  4. No actually mine doesn't but I'm looking into getting one, it's wired from the factory for it. I'm not saying I don't want one and they aren't helpful especially for trailers, my problem is we are being mandated for every stinking thing anymore. I'm tired of the government "looking out for my best interests"

  8. I love it when new tech comes out for cars and all the sheep flock to the dealerships because they feel the just have to have it. Then that floods the used market with nice trade ins for people like me that will never ever buy a brand new car because of the depreciation. As far as being mandatory, yes it's BS but I think it would be standard equipment eventually anyways.

  10. I have also swapped the stock turn signals and bars. I really like bike master superbike bars, and have them on the FZ1 also. I snagged some up and tossed those on the SV as well. The turn signals are just some little clear lens LED signals. Nothin fancy, but they do the job and look cleaner than the OEMs. When I fabbed up the plate bracket and did the turn signals, I decided since the bike was going to be doing dual duty, I would make it easy to remove. I used all the OEM plugs and set it up, so that when I remove two screws, the plate lights, plate, and rear turn signals come off. All while I have been tinkering on this little scooter, I have been riding it as well. I noticed that I had the stereotypical clutch cover leak. Easy fix. Call up Mr. Nathan at riders discount and order a beautiful woodcraft clutch cover. What I have also noticed in my adventures that the bike was undersprung in the front. I also ordered a set of .95 racetech springs and some 15 wt silkolene.I installed the clutch cover last night. The fit and finish was fantastic. I will fire it up here in a bit and check for leaks. As some of you know, I'm OCD with keeping vehicles clean. Since the OEM body work on this bike is in such good shape, I went ahead and rounded up an extra fuel tank, complete with dents. I just need to get a fuel pump, and plug the sending unit bung. I've been watching another OEM tail on ebay for awhile, but I haven't pulled the trigger. Going back and fourth on a superbike race tail , or the oem. I really like the sound of the staintune exhaust, I love how nice and clean it looks as well. For a slip on the price comes in just under 800 bucks I believe. I decided to get another slip on for track use. Aden had a slip on for an 02 triumph sprint st 955. I trimmed on the mid pipe a bit and she bolted right up. I originally intended to have a mid pipe made, but thats now unnecessary. I'm going to move the spring tabs to line up properly at some point.. Its extremely quiet Thats all I have for now, I will update more as time goes on. - Springs need installed -rearsets need added -bar end mirrors

  12. I don't have the same "I wanna do anything I wanna do" thing that a lot of guys here have - to me it comes down to scale, cause and effect. I don't see how 100 deaths/yr would be worth the billions of dollars it would cost to mandate backup cameras when there are far larger causes of death that could more effectively benefit from the same spend.

  13. Any update? Damn you would of thought they would have gotten back to you by now. One of the things that burns me about Fontana just seems like they drag their feet on everything. I know I'm a impatient bitch but everyone has their thing

  15. all it says is there is an investigation and charges may follow....thats most likely standard for any case of someone getting killed....i doubt he will face any charges, and hes currently free - hes not being detained or anything....i would be shocked if anything further comes from this....just the media trying to hype it up even more and get people talking - which is obviously working for them
