  3. There is a lesson for us to learn in the Ukraine. The fight is basically over if the country should continue to align itself with Russia or if it should move over to the EU. Problem is they are in debt up to their eyeballs to Russia and they need another 15 Billion or so. Also they are entirely dependent on Russia for energy. The lesson is don't go into debt to other people, otherwise you don't control your destiny. Same thing with energy independence. I predict that after the Olympics are over Putin will call his minions in the Ukraine government and say 'Nail these freedom loving hippies, and nail them hard'. And it will happen. And before you partisan hacks all go off on your tangent/agendas your simple one liner answers are BS. The fix for energy isn't 'green energy' and it isn't the Keystone Pipeline and it isn't fracking or natural gas. It's like the lady I wrote in for President in 2008 said 'It's all of the above'. And of course to solve the borrowing issue from China the answer is all of the above, tax the rich and spend less. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySc12uzoxqU

  8. Sport tourer (VFR,FJR, C14, ST) or adventure bike(VStrom,Versy,GS, Multi) sound like your options. If you don't plan on doing any gravel or mild off road I'd stick with the sport tour. The ADV bike will be your cheaper option but you get a lot of bang for your buck out of the sport.T. I've seen quite a few in your price range.

  9. I feel that my metric cruiser gives me enough sporty to keep me interested, and a riding position that keeps me comfy. I don't consider myself an agressive rider. But, I really really hate riding in a straight line. I find it very boring. To the thought that all metric cruisers want to be a HD. I find that laughable. I've ridden two HD's. I found both equally terribly in comfort and ridability. Although my wife did enjoy the comfort of the Electra Glide. It's just not what I want in a motorcycle. If and when I am ever to buy another bike it would be a Victory bagger. It would be purchased for the sole purpose of 2 up riding. It was comfortable enough that I could ride long disatnce, and has just enough sportiness that I could throw it through a corner and not wad it up on the other side. That being said. Ride what you want, for the ride you want. And don't be an arrogant prick about it.

  10. I bet we could make up some Nancy Dis-Grace cross-hair T's and sell the shit out of them with all proceeds going to having her removed from the air permanently. What a twisted mega twat.

  13. first off i rarely write good things about dealerships so this is a rare thing lol I popped into Honda Marysville Motorsports today (bought my Honda Grom from them) to talk to the GM Conor. They are a site sponsor now, and he is the one behind the screen name. Had initial stopped into to discuss some other things, but we went from that conversation to a totally different one that was unexpected and i really enjoyed it. I was expressing my thoughts and concerns about the dealership and how things are run and what not. Overall i never really had a terrible experience with them anytime i had stopped in the shop, but thought there were things that could be better. Conor expressed great interest in anyways he could make the experience at HM better. Conor is a pretty cool dude to talk with , and very open minded to things i had to say. He also expressed to me things i really didn't get from the sales guys. Things he is trying to push the sales guys to do. The personal experience and bonding that should take place in visiting the shop. Sharing not only the buying experience, but the passion of motorcycles, and the family atmosphere that goes with it. He had a lot of questions on how to do things on OR.. basic stuff like where to post certain things, and where to put what posts. He wanted to make sure he was following the forum rules, and also wanted to give the most he could to our community. i gave him a few ideas for things he could do for the site and events that Ohio Riders might be interested in. He had a great idea as well. Having one of there certified techs answer questions on the forum, and put up diagrams or things that would help forum members. Along with Forum member discounts for parts and accessories. Overall it was a really nice long talk and i enjoyed it. Very surprised at his attitude and willingness to really be a genuine part of our motorcycle culture. So expect some good things from him, and if your around Marysville you should stop in and bullshit with him and some of the other guys there.

  14. That is not acceptable, new guns must be shot within one week or forfeited to me to make good use of them. If it was a 9mm then you might still be looking for ammo to break it in. I wish they made the xds in a .40 I would have got one just to have a better ammo supply available.

  17. Why should I care about the situation in Ukraine? It's not as if the gays are being oppressed there. Or is it? Just let me know if gays are being oppressed, and I will switch my position to one of caring. And rally the white 20 - something white girls of Facebook to my side. They are waiting to take a Stand on this particular Human Rights Issue.

  20. I bought this last night from a family member who needed money and I cant keep it at this time, although I would like to. It is an 302 automatic truck, title says it has 38k but says exceeds mechanical limits so Im assuming that's not right. The truck was parked a couple weeks ago due to a bad master cylinder but up until then he drove it every day although he did say it is in need of a tune up. So to be driveable it needs a master cylinder for sure and I cant guarantee anything else. Seems like a pretty solid project truck for someone and I assume a regular cab short bed is hard to find. I'm asking 1200 but I need it gone quick because I just broke my G8 after I bought this last night.
