  1. I don't come from a big shop so maybe I'm missing something, but what's the problem with continuing to work even after you've meet your quota? aren't you still getting paid for working? is there something inherently wrong with performing above expectations?

  2. I'd say go back to the carbon facility. Although you'd rather see the boss spontaneously combust, it is a guaranteed job at your current salary. It doesn't mean you have to stay there. You could in the meantime wait for other opportunities in another division as they come up or you could look outside of meggit. Either way an employed person is always more desirable than an unemployed one.

  3. Hey guys names Bryan. I have been a long time Gear head mainly with Fords and other American muscle. I have had 3 previous V8 Mustangs a 1967 2000 and 2001 (looking to get another soon.) I currently have a 2012 F150 FX4 Ecoboost fully loaded with a few added stuff. I have been to Sawmill road meet a good bit. Enough about me here's some pictures. http://i1340.photobucket.com/albums/o721/Bogey1989/truck/IMG_116229084231547_zps8d4zwnpw.jpeg http://i1340.photobucket.com/albums/o721/Bogey1989/truck/IMG_20140304_193311_zpsnwii40on.jpg http://i1340.photobucket.com/albums/o721/Bogey1989/truck/IMG_300811045184779_zps9sfway5t.jpeg

  4. Last two are better than the first....but like Mr. Smooth said, any of them would be passable....the concern is shit falling off. Last one is the best though.

  5. Instead of whining about this, the OP should right the wrong & be thankful he isn't getting his ass sued off for a more serious accident. Not a lot of sympathy from me for people that drive without insurance, whatever the excuse.

  6. Mine didn't either. I had to follow the directions on that page in order to "Try the New Google Sheets", and it still didn't show up. I created a new document and it was there, so I'm guessing Google isn't automatically converting existing sheets to the new format. You may be able to copy/paste everything into a new sheet (after turning on the new stuff) and get it working that way.

  9. These days every company is squeezed to cut costs. If there wasn't enough work to stay busy all day, I sure wouldn't advertise it by hanging out in a break room. It makes for an obvious target when it's time for layoffs. If the workforce for a particular department is busy only 75% of the time, to the beancounters, that means they can reduce the workers by 25% with little to no impact to operations. That's Business 101.

  10. Was wondering when someone was going to point this out. If you and your peers are getting paid to sit around, you shouldn't be surprised by layoffs.

  13. Soooo, if this was his wedding how did they (his friends and family) even let it get to this point? Normally the bride and groom aren't as drunk as the other people attending the wedding? Maybe that's just the weddings I've been to but I would never have let my buddy that just got married start assaulting anyone. Sent from my iPhone.

  17. Fix this with the insurance company. They can, if they wish, file a form with the state and your license is gone for six months plus however long it takes to make payment arrangements. One you start paying you get your license back, after the initial six month suspension. You are going to have to pay for this no matter what. So you might as well get started. And don't post your insurance fraud plans on the internet.
