  1. My names Tyrone, I'm 19. Entreprenegro. Use to be a full-time Dentist for 5 years and had my own Dating Show on MTV, Ex-Pro Figure skater 2 time award winner at the National Ice Skating Association. Retired Salt Pounder. But really though, I'm a med student in Cleveland. Found out about CR through another forum. Live in Cleveland but occasionally go down to Columbus to visit people and whatnot, joined to find out about events such as C&C and to pass time at work by reading all the shit talking threads on here. Anyways, I had a tC that I sold a few weeks ago to some gentlemen in Michigan. I've owned it for 4 years, and it was a salvage title. They offered me more than I payed for it so I decided to let it go as I wouldn't have gotten that much for the car from anywhere else. No engine mods, 5spd, mengs HID's, tint. Was a daily driver so keeping it stock was the idea. Here are some pics: http://i979.photobucket.com/albums/ae279/gtr34sipc/20130309_182307_zps18f55bc4.jpg http://i979.photobucket.com/albums/ae279/gtr34sipc/tcfixed_zps3efabea4.jpg http://i979.photobucket.com/albums/ae279/gtr34sipc/20130608_163634_zps6cfaaef9.jpg I also have an 05 R1. Using it as a daily for the summer or until I find a quick little car that I like. Bike is stock, only "mods" are the seats, they're real alligator skin. I know that because I skinned the damn things myself. Hope to see some more action popping up around OH. Recently had a bit of fun with a newer built mustang just waiting on the kid to send me the vids they recorded...might be too ashamed... Looking forward to meeting some new people. Thanks!

  4. There is only one rule that must be followed in regards to waving when on a bike. If a little kid waves at you, you wave back. Don't care how much of a badass you think you are.

  7. It's way more expensive than $123. Whenever you lower a bike it's required that you buy a flat bill hat to wear backwards, a designer tank top, white flip flops, white oakleys, a white watch and white book bag to ride with. All that stuff is expensive! LED light kits are optional, but strongly encouraged.

  8. We can do it, man. It's probably at that stage, braking points, drive points and line choices... It's only a couple of seconds, but I think I know where you probably are losing them. I looked at my GPS today and saw 1+ seconds a lap. I know I could have obtained my targeted lap time, but just didn't get it done... The points are where I bet you are able to gain also...

  10. welcome aboard Agreed there is a small community of crusier riders. Judging by your intro post though, you should fit in just fine.

  11. Pretty small one. The cruiser haters here are pretty loud. You will recognize the little tards pretty quickly, just give it back to them. It makes for great sport. Might want to take a look at meetup.com, there is a big cruiser group there. Northcoast 99'ers. Not a bad crew, some of their rides are pretty well laid out and to cool places. If you do any riding with these folks, just watch how they describe the pace and choose carefully based on that.

  13. Three fastest lap times were two superbike racers Cassidy and Babuska. Both :29s. Matt Carr on a stock 1199S with only a slip-on and armor race plastics turned a 30.7. That's haulin ass... So, two guys in mid 29s and one guy in mid 30 on a stock bike...

  20. WRONG!!! I would strongly urge you to re-think this decision thru many times before embarking on this course. It's almost NEVER a good idea to cash in your 401-K or IRA early to pay a current debt. S'matter of fact, read enough financial advice columns and they'll give you quite a few reasons why this is universally a terrible idea….if you look 25 or 30 years down the road. My advice--and its free, so judge its value on its own merit--is that its always more sensible IN THE LONG RUN to do anything else, including starving yourself and eating mac&cheese, canceling your cable, your cell service, your personal trainer, your night with boys/girls, than cashing in your tax-deferred retirement accounts early. Do EVERYTHING you can to reduce your monthly cash expenditures and aggressively pay your loans off using your free cash flow. Anything else and you're jeopardizing your future security.

  21. College costs are way out of line period. They have outpaced inflation and income growth by a wide margin.

  22. The relative danger to those around me is greater when I fart in public than driving 72 in a 65. Give me a break. It's a scam to collect revenue that's all that kind of ticket is. Bust a yahoo on a bike going 80 and weaving through traffic...different story. Thankfully getting busted for 72/65 seems to be a rarity. I go 72-74 all day long every day so any cops on here can feel free to look for me on 270. I'll be the guy getting past by 75% of those around me.

  23. I wish college was free for smart hard working kids these days but I don't have a lot of sympathy for the OP. Smart enough to pass law school should be smart enough to see how much you borrowed and estimate the payments expected. But hey, schools don't teach financial basics otherwise we wouldn't have a 'faux slave labor' and 'consumer' economy. Too much debt to quit work and want too much shit to get out of debt. I have some sympathy since they lie to you about how import a college degree is and how much everyone will make after they spend years of their life studying and borrowing to get through school. The days of working your way through college are largely over. Minimum wage is a little over double but tuition is many times more than it was 30 years ago. Most likely an unintended consequence of easy loans meant to help people. And Congress is fucking students. Plain and simple. Large banks can borrow money for FREE. Billions for FREE and students have to pay triple the inflation rate. Hmmmm!

  29. The lower intake manifold gasket will leak A LOT of coolant internally, and can easily be mistaken for blown head gasket symptoms. Compression test can rule out a blown head gasket, usually. That's where I would start.
