  1. Hi all, I learned about this site at Columbus Cars and Coffee last weekend in between the sleet and rain. My name is Brian and I live and work in Circleville. I'm a Network Administrator for the local hospital, but I really do a little of everything. Basically if it has blinking lights (or should) I fix it. My wife and I are currently shopping for fun car to cruise in and be able to autocross. She's as into cars as I am. We're participating in the Rally North America OV700 this weekend. Driving my 2014 GMC Sierra. Not much in power mods yet other than an AFE intake and some minor exhaust tweaks. Mostly to get a little noise out of it. That and lots of decals... http://i.imgur.com/fehEUaOl.jpg

  2. Well after being gone for about a year its probably time for me to remind you guys that you can't ride for shit and not to leave your pets around Jinu. I am still bikeless but hopefully that will change here soon. After my whole Siapan debocle I was lost and didn't really know what the fuck to do with my life or if I even wanted to continue flying. After several months of pouting and feeling sorry for myself I figured I wasn't going to be able to spread my legs all over the world if I didn't get off my ass and do some thing about to change it. I came down to Dallas to get my flight instructor ratings back in Febuary. While in training I got an internship at a corporate flight simulator company acting as a supporting crew member (First officer or right seater as you will) in a Lear 35. Once I started running out of money I got a job as a flight instructor teaching people to fly (be afraid, be very afraid) while finishing up the internship. Today marks the 1 year annaversry of getting back from Siapan and I am happy to report that I start the initail class training to get my Pilot In Command (PIC) type rating in the Lear 35. I am hoping to get a job working for a med ecav company in Florida and finally make some real money.

  3. Hey guys thanks for the add. Heard about this forum from a friend. Name is Andy, I live in Nashport now (Between Newark and Zanesville) originally from Newark. Have been a car lover my whole life, and have always wanted something pretty fast but never had the chance. Always had Silverado's untill I bought my first car this year. I drive a 2008 Chrysler 300c SRT Design. It is a 5.7 HEMI car with factory performance stuff, like stiffer suspension, performance steering, better flowing exhaust, and 20 inch rims factory. Rated at 350 HP instead of the usual 340 HP for that year. Performance wise it is pretty stock, I have a 180* Thermostat and a Diablosport Predator tune on it. I spent a bunch of cash on visual mods right away, and then a friend got me on the drag strip at National Trails for the first time and well the rest is history. I am no addicted to it! Looks wise, I swapped the stock 5.7 300c fascia for a SRT8 fascia, installed a 300 SRT8 rear fascia as well. Put on some LED DRL lights, and projector fog lights. Had a couple different grilles for the car. Also put on some 20x9 SRT Core rims with 255/45 Continental DWS Extrem Contacts all around. Had a couple custom badges made up and put on a 2nd Gen Chrysler wing on the trunk. I am FAR from done with looks and performance of course. I am regularly at NTR whenever I can, and have done a couple best runs of 13.864 @ 100 and 13.865 @ 101. I dont think that is bad for a 4400 lb car on 20 inch rims. Although the bigger SRT8 6.1 Hemi will run low 13s..... Anyway, enough rambling. Thanks for the add. Here are a couple pics of the car.... Completely stock... http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u618/Andy_McPeck/WP_20140401_15_49_48_Pro_zps91aa3ea9.jpg After some mods, This is with the old grille.... http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u618/Andy_McPeck/temporary_zpsdc5bac42.jpg http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u618/Andy_McPeck/temporary_zps073857d3.jpg And last one, just the new grille installed.... http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u618/Andy_McPeck/WP_20140816_18_33_55_Pro_zpsa30e78fd.jpg

  6. TLDR: woman driver + air plane = good luck everyone else (just kidding, she basically prevented a plane malfunction run by a shitty air service from killing her and her passengers... the story was neat, you should read it. i could be forgetting/missing details lol)

  8. This is not a pity post. This is just me getting shit out. My dog tyton was diagnosed with lymphoma today. He'll be 7 next month if he makes it that long. I always knew this day would come but I also always thought it would come a lot later. We don't have kids so the dog is literally our baby. If you have a dog, hug him, give him a cheeseburger, let him up on the good furniture and just be thankful that you have him.

  9. In my opinion, suspension is the absolute most important thing. Get that sorted, then save money for fuel and tires.

  15. I once said F it and quit a job because management made some terrible decisions that chased off some clients and cost the company losses in the 8 figure range. I let them know I left because they were morons. I didn't even look for a job for 6 months.

  22. No sense of humor around here anymore. People die every day. Animals die everyday. It is a part of life. And I bet I can count on my one hand how many people think that the animal they are eating for dinner had to die. It is seriously time for everyone in america to grow the fuck up and accept people and animals die. When my madagascar dragon tree that's I've been babying for the past 3 years dies I'm going to make a thread about it.
