  1. Overkill for a bicycle isn't it?

  2. No, I think it is a limitation of the software. It has been that way since Casper switched over. Lot of peeps don't notice it until their Sponsor expires or they don't edit often. Don't get me wrong, Casper is to blame for most everything but for this one time only I do not think it is his fault.

  9. are you sure about that? because last I checked in order for you to restrict access to your property you need to actually post notice (no trespassing signs) and in some states restrict access (fences, gates, etc) In other words, your mailman, solicitors, door to door sales men, etc....have every right to walk on to your property and ring your door bell and knock on your door if you haven't at very least put up the no trespassing signs. As far as walking into other areas of your property, that's a bit of a gray area - maybe they shouldn't be there but how are you going to prosecute if you haven't provided warning.

  10. If you see a drone hovering over your backyard...you call the cops. That's it. Let them and the FAA deal with it. If you are irresponsible enough to discharge a weapon in a residental area like that, my personal feeling is you are not responsible enough to own guns. but fortunately I don't have to worry about it because frankly shooting down a drone is considered shooting down an aircraft and attached to that lovely infraction is time in federal pound you in the ass prison. Which you totally deserve: http://www.forbes.com/sites/gregorymcneal/2013/12/10/thankfully-shooting-down-a-drone-will-land-you-in-federal-prison/ "Drone" is a piss poor word for what we are talking about here anyway - these are hobby airplanes and quad copters with little cameras on them. They are not the giant preadator things the gubment flys (anybody see a predator drone in real life? it's bigger than a cessna 172). There have been cameras on r/c airplanes since there have been both cameras and R/C airplanes (government used them for gun training in the 1940s, civilian use started about the 1980s). The only thing that has changed is accessibility to the equipment. there are probably going to be more laws coming soon about where you can fly or can't fly RC airplanes in relation to residential neighborhoods, which is kind of ok since that is how it is with gas powered larger RC craft, but really... if your first reaction to the neighborhood kid's quad-copter flying too close to your daughter's window is to grab your boom stick...seek professional psychiatric help.

  11. this. For me, the Street glide is the best 2 up bike for me and my wife to do our long trips, relax be comfortable, listen to tunes and just enjoy being together and sharing an experience. the multistrada on the other hand, is a bike i can tour on, and still have face ripping power. it handles like a sport bike and i can do a track day on it, but is still comfortable enough to put in 500 + mile days on. is it a good 2 up bike? sure, but the wife would rather be on the back of the harley than the ducati. the Multistrada will be getting an exhaust and some sort of luggage over the winter, and maybe a different seat. I think i pretty much have the Street glide set up exactly where it needs to be, so I'm done modding it.

  20. http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/oped/erik-buell-racing-receivership-explained/ Should a buyer not arise, the receiver will begin selling EBR assets. This means liquidating any bikes that remain, selling whatever real property the company owns, and beginning to look for buyers to Buell’s IP — for all the talk of how innovative Erik Buell is (a premise I reject, outright), this would be the ultimate quantification of that genius. The IP is perhaps the hardest part of EBR to sell, as the list of potential buyers are limited in number, and as one astute observer once wrote, “[buell] wasted all his energy developing alternative solutions to mundane technical problems that yielded no appreciable benefit in performance over traditional bike systems.” How much is the ZTL braking system worth? The free market is about to decide. For all the engineering effort that went into the ZTL brakes and the fuel in frame, they have yet to prove they are any better than more conventional approaches. Moto2 would have been a far better choice than WSBK if EB really wanted to prove his designs had an advantage on the racetrack. In Moto2, everyone uses the same engine and ECM, no mods allowed. If EB chassis and brakes had any real advantage this is an apples-to-apples way to prove it. In WSBK and AMA Superbike the EBR machines were so far down on power that is tough to draw the same conclusions.

  21. It is my fault. I've had issues in the past with people editing their posts (like stuff for sale, claiming one thing, then editing after sold). With vBulletin, I had a log of edits so when someone complained about this, I could pull up the log for them. IPB does not have this log. To somewhat remedy the problem and also try to relax the 30 day/30 post rule, I decided to restrict the ability to edit to supporters. The idea there is that if you've paid money and are an active supporter of the website, you probably aren't out to screw people with misleading ads. Of course I could be wrong, but that's the theory. If anyone needs a post edited, they can also ask a mod/admin and we'll gladly do it.
