While I don't disagree with this, ResponsibleOhio made a tactical error in making 10 growers part of the proposed bill. They could have accomplished this behind the scenes by working with politicians who would have no doubt invested in these 10 grow sites. Adding the 10 growers to the bill just gave a foothold to their opponents (many of which do not understand the actual implications). IMO, that is the reason the bill failed. Edit - BTW, much of the weed sold in Ohio is already grown in OH...just saying.

So instead of a monopoly of 10 law abiding business people in Ohio you pot heads voted to continue to give your money to another monopoly. The f'ing Mexican drug cartels. You folks are giving them money so they can continue to mass murder people. Good job.

That's not the point - the point is that there is nothing in the Ohio constitution that prevents me from starting a cell phone company tomorrow to compete against the 'big 3' or whatever they are. These people are trying to enter the market with a law that prevents any competition. That's shitty.

Name me 10 different hospital companies in your area you can do business with. 10 different cable companies. 10 different gas station companies. 10 different grocery store chains. 10 different Ohio motorcycle message boards. You don't have 10 different choices on anything, you don't even have 10 choices of which finger you are going to stick up your own asses since two of them are thumbs. Golden opportunity gone.
