  2. I back my lifted Humvee up to the disabled parking space at the front Whole Foods with my exhaust pointing into the front door. Then I make them pack my groceries in a bag woven from the delicate rib bones of endangered songbirds. When I get home I take the bag, cram a passing duck into it and throw it off a bridge into the local clean water reservoir. Then I congratulate myself for being eco-minded enough to shop at Whole Paycheck Foods.

  3. I still provide the highest quality of (almost)weekly updates in the NWS Section. As long as I have the stamina to slug through all the skanks and hoes that exist in the Interwebs, there will be Pr0n on OR!

  5. the multi is an amazing machine, and all of the "i wish it had" has been done on the new model. its a technological dream, and the motor is amazing on them. I'm still on a 2010, but its still my favorite bike of all time that i have owned. i like a lot of bikes, i have owned a lot of bikes, but the multistrada is by far #1 in my list. the engine is sublime, the handling is amazing, great brakes, good seating position. you can tour all day on it, or do a track day. a lot of the gripes i have with my bike would be windscreen buffeting, low end fueling issues, no cruise, and soft spring rate in the forks. the model addresses all these issues and adds a bevy of additional items that make the experience more enjoyable. that being said, i know a few people who have ridden the bmw version of the multistrada, and rave over it, saying it is the better of the 2 bikes. i can not attest to this, but i just have lost the lust for an inline. the twin just sounds better, feels better coming out of corners, and the noise of the L twin is just amazing. you could saying I'm bias on this for sure, but again, of all the bikes I've owned/ridden, the multistrada always puts a smile on my face.

  9. Yea, but it was too big of a temptation to fit in the negative Ducati reference in a thread about buying a Ducati.

  11. I also use a duffel bag from time to time. Have you thought about going that route even though its not something you're clearly considering but something I use so I feel the need to suggest it?

  12. You buy an actual motorcycle and actually drive it to my house and show me an actual title in your name and I will take you to an actual Cavs game. EDIT: This week. EDIT 2: Without an 10 page thread on what to buy.

  13. While we're talking about chain sharpening, I would remove yours and have it sharpened. I'll bow out of the quality chainsaw discussion, because I rely solely on a crappy Homelite electric. That said, as crappy as it is, we have successfully used it for a decade, and took down several decent sized trees. A new (sharp) chain will save you a ton of time, and your saw a lot of stress. We have 3 chains, counting the original. just get them all sharpened at the same time, and then hope you only need to use 1.

  14. with a $2k budget, I think he's going to have to look at cheap bikes and then make them tour-worthy. Buy something reliable that will eat up miles, and then spend the extra cash on a Corbin seat, hard luggage, and a bigger wind-screen. maybe a throttle lock if he's really eating up highway miles. People did those mods to their EX500 and logged 2,000 mile trips pretty easily. You don't need a big bike to tour.
