  1. You should watch this entire video before you express any opinion about Islamic beliefs. It's about 15 minutes. It's full of facts. From 10:20-13:15 they show demographics and percentages that you may find interesting (but you should still watch the entire video). By the Numbers is an honest and open discussion about Muslim opinions and demographics. Narrated by Raheel Raza, president of Muslims Facing Tomorrow, this short film is about the acceptance that radical Islam is a bigger problem than most politically correct governments and individuals are ready to admit...

  8. Ever wonder if drug companies have their own lawyers start class actions so they can keep 1/2 the settlement and whatever isn't claimed?

  9. So twenty years or so ago when Dave was 16 he borrowed the wife's car. First and only time he ever got to use it. She gave him the speech on acceptable use of the car. When she got it back she found a beer cap under the seat. Last night she put this in his car.

  10. So I used the nav today. It is very slick. On the full screen in the center console is a full nav with maps and all the functions. But it also pops a mini map to the left of the spedo. So once you fire nav up you can pull down another app on the main screen and get your nav from the spedo area. It also only uses the left front speaker for spoken directions so other peeps can still jam.

  13. aren't we all just splitting hairs and definitions here? Of course religion (nearly all of them) has been used to rationalize a billion different horrible acts. I think religions are dangerous because people follow them so blindly, and the founders they hold in such high regard are not around to correct or qualify past statements or writings. Hell, 90% of christianity is 'the inspired word of god.' That's the polite way of saying some dude made it up, and then the church endorsed it as the word of god later. The other 10% is (supposedly) first-hand observations written down by apostles, and then I guess technically the 10 commandments were literally etched in stone by 'god' as he appeared to moses as a burning bush. (totally rational and legit) My knowledge of basic islamic tenants is lacking, but my guess is that allah doesn't have a whole lot to say, and the 'prophet mohamed' got to make up whatever he wanted. When those words were recorded is anybody's guess. God may not be bullshit. I'm not prepared to completely dismiss the possibility of a higher power - but religion is pure and utter shit. Religion is men scaring other men into an ideology using god as a tool of fear. I do not lack faith in 'god,' i lack faith in man. People who place their faith in the wrong men will always be dangerous.

  14. Not too sure that any religion is one of peace. They're all more about control of the masses than anything. Hard to judge Muhammad and others in religion by today's standards. Thing were different back in the day and certainly more barbaric. So his actiopns might not have raised an eyebrow then. The sooner humans move past religions the better.

  17. I personally think all of the major religions should all be discontinued. However to this discussion, ISIS has created a very difficult situation for non-Muslim countries and peoples. They have recruited the most radicalized and are using them to wage the ground war for territory in the middle East. This in an atmosphere where Muslims are already regarded with disdain by many in non-Muslim countries due to the actions of a small percentage of ultra radicalized people. You pull off a few attacks as they have and you stoke that mistrust, fear and outright hate of Muslims in those non-Muslim countries. You see it with things like Donald, state governors etc. This leads to increased radicalization of people that otherwise may not have gone down that path because now they feel like they are being attacked. This is exactly what ISIS wants. They want the end of days war because that is the prophecy they believe. So the "Western" powers are stuck between a rock and a hard place. If they do nothing they will continue to occupy more territory in the middle east because we have weakened a number of those countries that would otherwise fight them. If we fight them as we have been, killing a bunch of civilians we risk the very real possibility of radicalizing portions of the population that live in the West. If we continue to be so hostile and hate filled we will have more and more attacks on our soil. So while Donald stokes this hatred and fear it really is just playing into their hands. One would think with his "great intelligence" he would see that. But he knows there is a significant portion of the US population that doesn't get it. And he plays right to what they want to hear. This leaves us in this terrible feeling position of having to overcome this fear and mistrust. It isn't easy and the chances of us actually accomplishing it are probably about 0.
