  1. There's an old addage that riders/racers use...."I'd rather sweat than bleed". The protective gear wont be the most comfortable stuff, but you dress for the crash...not the ride

  2. New addition to the fun and a bump. Price still $3000, now comes as a package deal with a spare street-able clean title frame. If you want the frame installed on the bike I can do that for you but the price of the package increases to $3250. You get both frames for the bike either way.

  4. Picked up the pig today...can't wait to start the mods. Need to find the time this week to get to the BMV/Title Bureau to transfer the title and get plates.

  8. I plan to be in on this again this year. I rode with Helmutt last year during the spring and had a blast. I'd be glad to ride in his group again or a med-fast group because I know he brings a crew with him as it is.

  9. Weird, don't have to do any of that stuff to my Hyundia or the wife's Subaru.

  10. I have Icon padded shorts to wear under whatever pants I ride in, which is nice since they'd likely stay planted underneath no matter if the suit/pants moved around some in a crash. A 2 piece suit seems like it may be more versatile since you can wear the jacket with other types of pant, and vice versa. Pricewise, I'm not sure how they compare to 1 piece suits as I've never sought out a 2 piece - but seems for an occasional trackday guy, the 2 piece would give you more options for your money. The hypersport pants look plenty good enough for some novice tracktime, and I wouldn't worry about kneedragging too much your first day....that will come in time as you get better with body position and corner speed.

  11. Today the middle finger means "FUCK YOU!", but was actually invented in Golden-Age Athens 2500 years ago, not Medieval times. It originated from Ancient Greek comedy called The Clouds by Aristophanes. In this play, the actors mocked a politician by stating that his competitor had a longer dick. They showed this by running around with their middle finger pointing out from their dick area. It was meant to be stupid. It's meaning changed over time, but always was considered insulting

  12. Congrats on the Kawi. And albeit dripping with sex appeal, the Ape doesn't serve you ( especially in correlation to it's pricetag ) if it's problematic and parked. Issues like that are exactly what steered me from new BMWs and Ducs - down to it, I need a bike that will put out....every time the urge strikes. Post up pics of the new Ninja. See you at the Epic ride

  15. Plenty os spots still available in locations throughout the state. Sign up before the weather breaks. At last night's class, we had three no-shows, so three of four walk-ins got a seat in this weekend's class on the Hilltop.

  16. Sorry, the GN has been a real labor of love over the last year. Not really ready to give up and sell her yet.
