Finding the stripped threads for the oil pan drain bolt yesterday, makes me want to use the previous owner's dick skin as thread tape so the bike won't leak oil.

My only move to get ANYTHING done is to send the wife out with her friends a couple nights a week. Then when the weekend comes, she feels like she owes me garage or riding time.
Just talked to JD, "it's peachy". He replaced the hose and ran it on the dyno for a minute and nothing bad happened. New oil and it's getting the real tune soon. Looking forward to getting it back but I've had some time to play with the xr, so it's all good.
I am all for clean air and water, but the EPA has been running amuck, well beyond thier charter for far too long. They need checks and balances like every other department.
Did you burp the bajeezus out of the coolant system? On the street triple you have to lean the bike way the hell over and moosh the tubes with your hands on both sides... not sure if the Daytona is the same or similar. I know the coolant reservoir is in a different place on the Daytona at least.
