  1. The entire organization is the biggest joke in professional sports. It's statistically unusual to be that bad for that long.

  3. Go here: https://www.legislature.ohio.gov/legislators/find-my-legislators and find your Rep and Senator. Copy and past the below in. Yea, I know I caved on the earphone issue. But if we go for that at the same time we will lose on both. One thing at a time. Hello, I would like to discuss with you a needed change to Ohio law, specifically ORC 4511.84 http://codes.ohio.gov/orc/4511.84 This law prohibits the use of earphones and earplugs while riding a motorcycle. While prohibiting earphones may make sense, the prohibition on earplugs does not. This law is antiquated and does not account for the medical community’s better understanding of hearing loss and it’s causes. In fact the Ohio BMV handbook for new motorcycle riders says: “Long-term exposure to engine and wind noise can cause permanent hearing damage, even if you have a quiet motorcycle and wear a full-face helmet. Whether you choose disposable foam plugs or reusable custom-molded devices, properly worn hearing protection reduces noise, while allowing you to hear important sounds like car horns and sirens.” I have a quiet motorcycle, and I wear a full face helmet. When I don’t wear ear plugs I can clearly tell my hearing has been impacted after a day of riding. They ring and buzz, just like being at a loud concert. Yes, I ignore the law and wear ear plugs as do a great many other riders I know. One of whom just got a $95 dollar ticket for doing so. I can assure you I can hear sirens and horns. Ear plugs are selective in what noise they block. Simply put the State has a law forcing a motorcycle rider to suffer permanent hearing loss. It has no moral right to do so. 4511.84 needs to be amended with an exception for hearing protection for motorcycle riders as many other states have already done. Please let me know what I can do to help make this happen and thank you in advance for your help in this matter.

  7. You Tube it. I have put miles of this together. Proper tools are a plus as in the cutter. After you get the first fitting installed(generally left hand threads) put a drop of oil on the end of the other piece before you screw it in. After you have it assembled blow thru it to make sure it went together correctly. The stainless covering makes it more of a hassle but it is doable.

  9. We had another race today. During practice I tried working on the advice given and the things Ken Hill talks about in the podcasts. My goal for the day was to improve and get more comfortable on the bike. I worked on where to release the brakes and get on the throttle trying to minimize my time at neutral throttle. I worked on trying to improve my exits. I worked on telling myself to move my eyes (a lot, I was surprised how many times I had to remind myself to move my eyes more). I tried to work on smoother inputs and the first and last 5% but I often forgot that. But I could tell that I was getting better and more smooth with each lap. Everything I was working on took less and less thought with every lap. Before long I feel I will become a lot more competitive. I was able to move up to 2nd in the points today as well. My friend that was sitting comfortably in 2nd had been giving me shit after the practice rounds for being significantly slower than the experienced riders even though I had just gone to the socal supermoto school. During the heat race I was still working on improving and not focusing on trying to push myself to go faster. He took a different approach and tried chasing faster riders. He crashed out 4 or 5 laps into the heat race. He hurt his leg and broke the reservoir for his front brake fluid. He couldn't even start his bike because his leg hurt to bad to kick it over even if his brake fluid wasnt leaking. He wasn't able to make the main race and didn't get any points for the day. After he realized I surpassed him in points he didn't have much more to say. Hopefully I can keep improving and hold him off for the rest of the season.

  10. Just as an FYI, I'm keeping track of all the haters. Once the Browns become good again, none of you guys (haters) are allowed to be fans!! They are making solid moves this offseason. While they still won't be a playoff contender, our new coaching staff has us moving in the right direction.

  11. If you're an enabler of a person like this how in the hell do you justify that. What do you say here's a large pepperoni pizza and when you're done eating it I'll clean the shit out of you fat rolls and wash the fugus from between your back fat? Be damned if I enabled somebody that was that big and then had to clean up after them cuz they are unable to do it for themselves.

  14. No I would not starve them to death but I would only feed them what they need to get healthy with professional guidance of course. Because basically the alternative here is they are getting feed to death.

  15. I know most of these people like this have a mental issue or two that usually lead to them getting this big. Either depression or they were abused or something along those lines. And I still don't buy that that is even a legit excuse. But the problem I have with people like this is that fact that there is someone or many someone's enabling them. Once you get to the point of being so big (I would guess around the 500-600lb mark) you a physically unable to do things for yourself. Like walk and travel to the store or even go to the bathroom. So in a nut shell this 1100 person, SOMONE IS FEEDING HER!! She's not driving herself to mcdonalds she's not going to the supermarket. Some one is an enabler and basically killer her by bringing her what ever she wants. I don't know why but that just pisses me off more than the person not trying to do the right thing for them selves.

  16. I'm going nowhere, weight still hovering. Sticking with the diet for the most part but haven't worked out much at all. Ive lost motivation, and I think it's because I no longer dislike where I am. Before I was a fat slob and that's how I thought of myself and wanted to change it. Now I think I look pretty good and feel so much better so I no longer have the motivation to push hard. I do still want to lose about 20 more lbs but need to find the new push mentally to do it. Could also be cabin fever from the time of year too. I'm ready to do some hiking and biking.

  17. And another thing. How come deaf people can drive? I get they adjust to the hearing loss, and use their other senses more. Well guess what, so do we. Our heads are on a swivel and we are non stop looking, or we are dead.
