@yoshiii Ill go look at bikes and gear with you in person if youd feel more comfortable going with another ride to talk stuff over as you look at it.3 points

If you got rid of her she would take her car, thus more room. Just tossing the thought out there.2 points

This suit is a few years old but in excellent condition. It has never been down...not even a knee. I've used it on several rides. The most damage it's taken has been some bugs hitting it. The suit is two pieces but it does zip together. The coat is a US 50 and the pants are a US 44. I'm a fairly big guy. I would guess this would probably fit someone who is roughly 5'10"-6'3" tall and depending on build 220-260lbs. You are certainly encouraged to try it on before you buy it. Again, it's in excellent condition. No smoking, crazy stains, or funky odors. I'm asking $475, I may also consider trades. I really don't get the chance to ride anymore and when I do this is certainly overkill. Thanks Read Less1 point

Where to begin.... My bike... Wife's bike, kinda hidden.... The notorious Recon... Zero turn mower... My daily or known as (Da Hoe).... Wife would not permit me to put one directly on her new car so I had to get creative...one on the front too... One of many tool boxes and one on the garage fridge... And the air compressor... I think that's it other than my wife's work car but it's not home right now.1 point

i actually asked that same question a while back (maybe another forum) and never really got a good answer. Having pondered this further since then, maybe these thoughts might help...First you have to ask why is it happening: it's certainly not for show, so it's either an artifact of the balance and traction of the bike that happens "just because", or it's induced by the rider to get the bike turned quicker. In either case, the physics are fairly simple - under severe braking there's little to no traction offered by the rear tire, and if the bike is turned during this time (yaw) then that loose rear wheel will begin to slide sideways since there's little to hold it inline with the direction of travel. Add some rear brake *not me!* or downshift and whatever lateral traction you had disappears. But why more so in Moto2??? I think the Moto3 bikes are light enough where the weight transfer is not dramatic enough to have as noticeable an effect, AND they maintain more corner speed than Moto2 or even MotoGP (ie, maybe they intentionally DON'T brake that hard, or for as long). And i guess it's possible that the million dollar MotoGP bikes are so much better that they don't move around as much as Moto2 (longer wheelbase, lower Cg, better brakes, better clutches,...) except maybe when Marquez is trying to bump Rossi from pole. MM backs it in better than most SuperMoto riders!1 point

If it's Sunday, I may show up on the CB500X and see if it can hang onto the back of the fast group.1 point

So has the OP went and looked at bikes and gear yet? I guess that might be a good place to start. See what catches your eye and and then come back with questions.1 point

Motus does have a demo truck, or at least did last year. I rode the MSTR when they came to Motohio. Its a really nice bike but also really expensive. It is just outside of what I can afford without selling everything else so I ended up getting a Multistrada.1 point

Older Ducati's had this for decades....i think it was a method to increase their left body panel and clutch lever sales.1 point

The answer to your question is No. (Lot's of other good advice from experienced riders on this thread too. They are not giving this advice because they want you to miss out on the fun either.)1 point

Neither a 1000 nor 600cc sportbike is a good choice for a first bike. It's the equivalent of a Ferrari for a first car. Cbr500r, Ninja 650, or Fz6r are much better choices for a first sporty motorcycle.1 point
