  2. Been detoxing the last few days, high protein, high fiber little to no carbs will stay the course till Sunday. Then Monday morning I start working out with a personal trainer in a small group boot camp type session for 6 weeks. In other words my ass is about to be handed to me, will get up a 4:30 AM to be in the gym at 5am. The trainer Jeremy said, if I don't hate him after the first week let him know, he'll try harder. Once I start the training I'll pick up the protein and the polyunsaturated fats a bit. I hope this is the reboot I need to get me back to where I was a year ago. He's also going to help me strengthen my back around the injury area.

  4. 2017 was a learning year, professionally and personally. Got a new track bike, street bike, and truck. Crashed for the first time ever on said new track bike. (Twice actually.) Got a new job that has less stress and compensates significantly better than the last job. Was able to spoil my family for Christmas for once. Was put in my first (and hopefully last) cast for the first (and hopefully last) fracture/break I've had, but other than that I stayed healthy. Played a lot of flag football. Ate a lot of good food. Spent time with good people. There's nothing else I could ask for. I'm a very fortunate guy. Looking into 2018; I want to continue to develop in my professional and personal life. Have my family and myself stay healthy. Get lots of track time. Possibly a new street bike. Oh, and get that Nicky Hayden Corsair X rep.

  11. 3 more classes completed 8 to go.... Started biking and then boot camp (crossfit style), lost a few pounds and gain some strength. Love the fact I am doing this with the most important person to me, @Helmutt I still love riding, although I crashed at the gocart track. I learned, I need strength in my legs, to make up for what I am lacking in height. 2018 goal is for Helmutt to race and for me to gain confidence and skill.

  12. Theres only one thing we all need in this world, a sturdy bottom end. Blueprinting for proper oil clearances and balancing parts with rotating mass increases reliability and reduces vibration. Boring and plating cylinders to match over size pistons and for maintenance. Cryo treating and or Lighten/Balancing crankshaft. Carrillo Rods when more strength is needed. Piston coatings reduce friction and wear while increasing sealing surface area and managing heat. R6s have vary specific issues with the oil clearances on the crank and rods. The 06-07 crank bearings allowed a loss of oil pressure causing a starvation condition to the #2 rod and habitual spun rod bearings. In 08- yamaha made a correction to prevent this issue but overcorrected. In this 2017 r6 the #5 rod bearing had 0.0003” oil gap. And therefor not long for this earth. In the 08- we started to see crankshaft failures that cryo treatment prevents. This is why properly built engines can increase reliability.
