  1. Date: July 2, 2018 Due to the popularity of the last OR track day, why not do it again in 2018? If you are on the fence about doing your first track day, this is the perfect opportunity to get a taste. There will be plenty of other members there with a vast amount of knowledge that will be happy to help/ provide guidance. I know a few of the members that joined us last year had a blast/ way more fun than they thought they would, and some of those same members may or may not be looking to get a bike to ride on the track. Dates haven't been posted yet and this thread will be update regularly. Since it's about to suck for the next few months, lets get some conversation started! For those of you that joined us last year, please provide feedback! Obviously Mid-Oho ultimately runs the day but if there is something that I can change/fix let me know. If you want more information: http://midohio.com/mid-ohio-courses/60-school/412-motorcycles Want to thank everyone that came out last year! A special thanks goes out to @J_Copeland for letting me ride that sexy Italian beast all day. Here are a few pictures that @DerekClouser and his fiance took last year.

  4. Realtors prefer you get a preapproval letter from a bank first. Let's them know your serious and what you are really looking/able to spend. Also, when you are ready to put an offer in, it's a lot easier if you already have the loan ready to go. You can hammer out the exact terms as you go along, but get that letter.

  5. It has Traxxion Dyanmics Fork Springs and a little bit different fork oil weight. I've watched countless hours of suspension tuning videos, and I think with what I got to work with, its dialed in pretty good.

  8. Friday ride leaves a 9:30, is 130 miles in length and there is a lunch along the way. They should be able to be back to the start point after a gas stop with a half hour to spare before lunch. Put me down in the no partake column.

  10. Riding it to work would be difficult. The bad: 1 The gearing would have to be changed to keep up with traffic. 2 Need to take your foot off of the peg to change gears, which would have to happen often. 3 The tires are magic off pavement and like riding on marbles on pavement. 4 The range of the gas tank is about the size of a push lawnmower. The good: 1 Everything would be an obstacle that needs to be ran over. Filtering would mean driving OVER traffic instead of between it.

  11. Not true, banks will lend you money for a house based on the appraised value. So you can't roll major upgrades into your primary mortgage. However you maybe able to take a construction loan to do improvements, since that loan is not secured by actual property it is usually at a higher rate. When you finish the work, you get it reappraised and refinance both loans (primary and construction) into a new primary mortgage. Ofcourse if you can self finance the construction you will save yourself alot of money. Like suggested, if you buy a house you can move into in a decent neighborhood that needs upgrades you can make yourself a nice investment. Fix it up yourself a room at a time while living there and you can make a good profit. If you are willing/able to take the time and effort.
