Ran my first 5k yesterday. 10/10 will totally do again.

So I guess that's me, because in defiance of all that is holy I will again host the spring meet and greet or beat your meat or whatever the fuck. It's a good goddam time and I'm happy to infest my garage with you parasites. As per usual, this is a thread to suss out the best day to hold said circle jerk. Like last year, the beers will be brewed in house and you, the patrons are invited to request the variety. Last year we had an IPA, a Dortmund lager and a milk stout. Last year I smoked up some pulled pork that went over quite well, along with brats, Italian sausage and pasta. I plan on similar offerings this year unless anyone has a better idea. Post up. I want dates, I want beers, I want foods. A good host is controlled by it's infection.

And as usual Sundays aren t good for me, but I will try hard to pick a Saturday that works for you. Do this. I'll put some foreigner or bad company on. Mullet rock the entire time you're here.

Hope to never use these tank protectors. The fit is ok, not great, but looks like they will offer protection should I toss it down the pavement. Extra thick carbon fiber on the pointy bits seems substantial.

I've never planned anything in my whole life. Take your trip friend; no matter what it takes; these images are nothing compared to the memories. One day I'll be old and unable, but I won't have regret about where I might have gone.

Film cameras were expensive to get developed back when I got my first bike at 15yrs old and I was much more into mechanical stuff than photography. They didn't invent the cell phone camera for another 9 years after I got my first two bikes, dang that makes me feel old. They came as a pair in a package deal from a friend of the family that promised I could never get them running again. Both photo's are off the net but the models are what I had (same color even) 1972 CZ 175 Trail. 1976 Honda CB550 supersport.

Did I mention I have heat in my shop?! Love it. Not crazy cold out, but a little bit of warmth goes a long way toward my motivation. I think the clutch cover is stupid expensive, but it sure would look cool and is a hell of a lot cheaper than a new clutch and associated engine bits. Maybe after I figure out how much I owe in taxes this year...

Finally got a under 30 minute 5k on the treadmill.

Installed some Woodcraft frame sliders and a ASV clutch lever. The eBay seller sent me the wrong brake lever.
