Passed on the deal today....like 2-3 excuses of why his schedule wouldn’t permit meeting at his lender.....i passed. The search continues.....

I am going to COTA again and know a few on the OR will be there this year. I thought we could get together in Austin one night and maybe at the track, how about meeting Friday night someplace?

My bonus is about to hit from work. What should I buy? After taxes, it's going to be about tree fiddy. Holy fuck. I need some warmer weather so that I can get the fuck out of the house.

This^. The VFR seems to be a bit more sporting than the FJR or Connie + it's a V4. Very capable bike. I'm sure you & Tony could work out a decent deal.

There's a nice "little" river right about here that's a typical stop when we ride around in seo. What makes a good ride for me is: 1. Everyone brought their bike home the same way it left the garage or better. 2. A nice quick pace on some twisties. (But not so much as to interfere with the next point.) 3. No oh-shit moments. 4. My senna doesn't die.

That episode still makes me laugh. I watched it again with my son this week.

I don't think I'll be doing much 2 up at all. Duke is gorgeous but not in budget. I almost bought a sprint last time I was looking but settled on the bandit because of the stump-pulling motor, reliability and ease of maintenance and availability of parts. I don't really care for most naked bikes, and I have an old cb750 I built that is already naked. I like fairings for freeway. I'm looking at a sport tourer because I absolutely love sport bikes but can't do the ergos anymore, so this gives me sporty performance without being a torture rack. I'll probably end up on a cruiser in a few years tho if my shoulders deteriorate any more.

and make sure the passenger isn't a felon do you have your licence? my class allowed you to come back for the legal part updates and submit questions.

I don't think there's a bad choice between Connie, FJR, or VFR. Each has their advantages and disadvantages but they are all awesome bikes.
