  1. Since Bridgestone came out with the new T31 they have all the old T30 and T30 EVO even the GT specs on close out. I just bought 2 rears and one front for $349 delivered. (Or $219 for a set) The T30 is one of my favorites grippy as hell and great in the wet. ST tires would be great for 80% of you riders out there, most of you will not run out of grip or performance on these tires. Can't go wrong at these prices with free shipping and no tax. https://www.ridersdomain.com/motorcycle-tires/bridgestone-touring-tires?dsc=clearance&cont=radial

  2. Unicorn bike? It's not as if I'm looking for something that doesn't exist. I'm looking for the right sport tourer for me. I don't have any interest in adv bikes, so not looking for one. Excuse me for trying to keep the thread I started on topic.

  3. I sold my subcompact 9mm on Thursday and replaced it with a Glock 19 gen 5 on Friday. 100 rounds down range. I still flinch and pull low/left. I’m actually better when i shoot quickly, because i don’t anticipate the recoil. Must practice more.

  4. So I'm sure I've covered this in a previous post but just a recap. Two years ago I started at 298+ lbs., then came the total life style change you all have heard about. Got down to 228 lbs last April then came my accident and back injury. Got back up to 254 lbs this last summer before I decided to get back on track. Decided at the begining of the year I will now only do monthly weigh ins. Last month I was down to 239 and today I'm down to 233.8 lbs. My first goal is to be back down to the 228 before April 23rd which is the date of my accident last year. Then the next goal will be 219.9 hopefully by vacation that is May 20. The second goal might be a stretch but we'll see. Been kind of lazy on workouts the last two weeks due to getting things done around the house and then getting sick last weekend and not totally over it yet. But I have stuck to the old diet fairly well. So that's it for now we will truck on and see what net months weigh in tells.

  5. Yeah my bad....I forget this is primarily a sport bike forum and most members don't even leave Ohio, which is why I rarely frequent here any more. Good luck with your unicorn bike, keep an open mind.

  7. . . . may i make a neutral comment? i drive a semi, 80,000 pounds, 350 miles a day, every day i'm working. that's not very much, for a semi. i can't dodge. i can't swerve. i move in slow motion, everywhere i go, or i roll the whole thing onto its roof. if you're on a bike, feel free to move in and out of my space anytime you need to. that's fine. i ride, and i understand. just don't expect me to compensate if you make a mistake, because i will squash you in a heartbeat rather than risk other people who aren't dancing on the edge. please remember that i am a giant killing machine with no ability to do anything quickly, whether i want to or not.

  9. Welcome to the forum. Being such a new rider, I'd recommend avoiding the larger group rides that was recommended earlier. until you've become much more familiar with riding. There's so much more that goes on in those rides that a newer rider doesn't need to be dealing with. Focus on riding solo or with one or two other experienced riders who won't force you to ride over your head. Too many times I see newer riders try and ride in larger groups and something bad happens because of the entirety of what is happening at once and the also added risk of more experienced riders pulling a newer rider to riding over their head. Look forward to riding with you some day.
