I like the white and orange too. But the deal on this one was too good. I got it for a little under book with about $2k worth of farkles on with all the original parts too.

Built up a 20 in wheel with a nuvinci CVT hub. Need to finish a bike to fit it to.

I stopped by the dealer yesterday to check on the progress and see if they'd ordered anything yet. Turns out they have, and nearly everything is in. Couple big things still on order, a crank and a connecting rod, and some smaller stuff like specific bolts and a bearing or two. I talked to another friend about this, and he said that Triumph has never had crate motors for anything, ever. Weird. Haven't confirmed that independently though. The service writers showed me the order sheet for the parts, and it's literally as if they went down the BikeBandit assembly for the engine and clicked "add to shopping cart" for everything. The parts retail north of $8k. I quickly ran back the mechanic's bay and gave him a thumbs up. I'm thinking a month.

But that would ruin the surprise and the bike guessing thread. The Connie isn't going anywhere. She is perfect for the molesting I do to her.

Yep. The seller took $500 less than asking and I’ll have less than that in travel costs down and home. Flew into Ft. Lauderdale on Thursday. You were 100% correct Florida and Souther Georgia suck ass. I don’t know why anyone owns a bike in Fl. Today was an awesome day, Wolf Pen Gap Rd., 129 to the Gap Store and then the Skyway. In Alcoa now, on my way to Richmond, Ky for the night. Florida and Georgia had me second guessing myself. The smile hasn’t left my face all day today. This bike is stupid fun.

We rode over 25 miles today. First time we ever rode that far.
