  1. Side by Sides and atvs are now street legal in almost all rural counties and a ton of suburban areas as well. Just not allowed on freeway, hi way and state routes. Only allowed to cross those. I use mine more on the road than anywhere. Just have to have the apv plate. Most everywhere has adopted that policy now that areas around Wayne have been doing forever Side note , Polaris also sells an oem dot kit that is plug and play on all newer models. Turn signals, horn, brake & license plate light. Get that and switch to radial dot tires and Ohio switches you to a street title and plates. About $500 total depending on your tire choice. I’ll likely be doing that in spring.

  2. Pretty sure its street legal vehicles only. Just a collection of state, county and local road with some cow paths to some fishing areas. I could ge wrong but that's the way it was many moons ago when used to go down with a four wheel drive in a canoe throwing some lures around.

  3. Plugged mine in and never touched them again... No problems... But my bike does have some charging issues, not sure if related though.

  4. I fought the HID crap in cars and bikes for years. Dealing with ballasts, flickering, and power issues. The auxbeam LEDs are awesome. Got them in the FJR and my Honda Accord.

  5. Just a bunch of county and township roads that are on the map. Lot of them are dirt and rough. The Jesse Owen's area used to be a cool area to explore but its been years since I've been back in there in 4wd. https://www.aep.com/environment/conservation/recland/pdf/AEPReCreationLandMap7-11-18.pdf

  8. I have a touring bike. If I want to tour I'll take it. You will not see IT on a trailer unless it broken or wrecked.

  9. I'm tapped out for vacation. I had surgery yesterday and wont be able to get on the bike for at least 2 weeks. I'm hoping the doc writes me off work till the 24th(September) and I can sneak down to the gap the weekend before. But my plan was to trailer the Z down for its maiden gap voyage. No I'm not riding that SOB down. If you guys plan some thing in October I might be able to meet you down there on the Connie IF I'm not scheduled to work that weekend. But as always that a day by day notice leading up to the weekend. So don't plan anything around me but there is a slim chance I can make a cameo appearance.

  13. 2 September, 2018 Unbeknownst to me on this quiescent day that I spent reading on our deck, I learned from a co-worker that Dan, my old boss from an old job, was out riding his trike along with his brothers, mom, and his 64-year-old dad, who were all aboard their motos on Mumford road in Hiram, Ohio sometime in the afternoon. Dan’s mom was on the pillion of his trike. Just west of state route 88, Dan’s dad apparently decided to hot dog it, accelerating from his position at the back of the group and passing everyone on a 1,500cc Yamaha cruiser as he headed into a gradual right turn. He apparently miscalculated his ability to negotiate the bend in the road, locked up the brakes, and then high-sided when the rear tire regained traction with the road, the bike following his body’s airborne trajectory and slamming him against a large tree, crushing him to death and causing the tree to snap and fall on his (likely, at this point) mangled corpse. To further ensure his dad’s demise, the destroyed Yamaha immediately burst into flames. This, in front of the man’s entire family, will be their last memory of his existence . . . The funeral is this coming Thursday. Please be careful, guys and gals! Ride within your respective abilities and NEVER take stupid chances . . .
