  1. Hello, new guy Justin here, I'm from a town about 30 miles east of C-bus called Hebron. Some of you might know it because National Trail Raceway is not to far from it. I joined up here because well I was out of the car game for about four years and am just getting back into again. Ohionissans is gone so I came here to join my fellow car enthusiasts. A rundown of the vehicles I currently have. My newest purchase, a 72 240z, just picked this up at the beginning of November. All i plan on doing is replacing some stock parts, cleaning it up and getting it some new wheels. http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a8/glacier985/240z/th_DSC_7558.jpghttp://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a8/glacier985/240z/th_DSC_7556.jpg This is my DD, 04 WRX Wagon, no mods forever, just my DD until it dies. http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a8/glacier985/th_DSC_2504.jpghttp://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a8/glacier985/th_DSC_2503.jpg And finally, the never ending project car, owned since 03, and soon to (hopefully) be finished, my 90 240sx ka24et http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c303/ka24eT_me/240sx/th_IMAGE_015.jpghttp://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c303/ka24eT_me/240sx/th_IMAGE_016.jpghttp://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c303/ka24eT_me/th_engineshot.jpg So there you go, I'm really here to see if I can meet up with old friends and make some new ones as well.

  2. Hello all, My name is Jeff and I moved to the Dayton area a few months ago from Alaska. I've been an F-body guy for about 20 years now and currently have a 97z under the knife in my garage. Other than that I have a fairly modified 06 cummins for those who are diesel fans. Haven't spent much time at the track in the last few years but I'm a huge fan of wrenching on anything i find in my spare time. Here is a pic of my 97z, its currently ripped to pieces getting heads, cam, longtubes, and a converter installed. Hope to have it running again by the first of the year. http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii304/jcsws6/398.jpg This was my baby a few years ago, full bolt on z51 M6. I loved this car but was moving to Alsaska for 4 years so I didn't want it to sit that long (ended up moving back in 2 years). http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii304/jcsws6/Picture032.jpg Here is my 05 Mustang I built in San Antonio a few years back. Had a vortech HO kit on it but never could overcome a blower surge problem. Ended up putting it back to stock and buing the vette. http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii304/jcsws6/103_0022.jpg

  3. The truck has an exhaust, smarty, 5" exhaust, glacier diesel filtration system and a full set of gauges. My favorite mod I did was a full katzkin interior that took me way longer than I thought to install! http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii304/jcsws6/139.jpg http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii304/jcsws6/094.jpg

  5. So he is a as Libertarian disguised as a shitty Republican who isn't genuine enough to run as a Libertarian? Sounds like political expedience and not to much different from any other politician who will lie to get ahead.

  6. lol beat me to the punch. That morbidly obese human sac of fecal matter shouldn't be allowed to make threads let alone post. When the dude goes down the track in his car it looks like someone stuffed that mustang to the roof full of loose skin and ballistic gel.

  7. Weather change has been awesome, my family is much happier here than Fairbanks. I'm keeping the camaro lt1, I've had several of each (lt1/ls1) and my goal with this car was to just have something to tinker with. I almost pulled the hammer on a new grand sport but the thought of enough money to pay for one of my kid’s college sitting in the garage seemed a bit excessive right now.

  9. If you are suggesting that Paul would remove corporations (and their associated money) from politics, then I would have to ask for a citation since I don't see it in the Wiki article. As long as corporate personhood is intact, and Citizens United is in force, you aren't removing corporations from anything political anytime soon. I would need to see his positions on that to form a opinion about his stance. So much to process... Government didn't create credit default swaps. Government didn't create CDO's. Government didn't lump subprime mortgages into complex derivatives that they sold to rubes (with AAA ratings from private ratings firms, government didn't do that either) then started betting against them. Government didn't... you see where I'm going with this. Government, however, did repeal Glass-Steagall, which was one of the major pieces of regulation to come from the Great Depression. It greatly reduced the separation between commercial and investment banks. There's also this: "In 2004, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission relaxed the net capital rule, which enabled investment banks to substantially increase the level of debt they were taking on, fueling the growth in mortgage-backed securities supporting subprime mortgages. The SEC has conceded that self-regulation of investment banks contributed to the crisis." In short, a completely-free-of-regulation market is not feasible as long as humans are running it, especially humans in large groups, and ESPECIALLY the types of people that usually get into this line of business. I hate to use a movie reference to make a point, but Boiler Room/Wall Street may have been caricatures of Wall Street traders, but but they weren't far off the mark. People need boundaries, institutions run by people need even bigger boundaries, and institutions that are as integral to the economy as the stock market need army of people to make sure that things are running as they should. I'll be the first one to admit that Obama hasn't lived up to the hype. I'll also be the first one to point out that the Republicans have behaved like whiny little babies for his entire term. I recall seeing a news article about one of the new Tea Party congressman whining about how his new, lifetime, taxpayer funded health coverage didn't take effect immediately, here it is Or how Republicans seem to come up with distraction after distraction. Family values, mentioning God in addresses, homosexual agenda, gay marriage, gays in the military, abortion (forcing debate on unconstitutional laws in defiance of accepted precedent) Don't misunderstand me here, I am well aware that Democrats have more than their fair share of failings. Glenn Beck? Dude, that seriously hurts. Besides, I though Fox News was a respected journalistic outlet amongst the Republican base?

I have a white 1990 Wrangler Last year of the carb'd 4.2L. 3 speed auto, hard top, full doors 31" tires on black "black rock" 15" rims, spare as well older sony cd head unit and soundbar Brand new autozone reman engine $2000+ within last 3k miles 3 year unlimited mile warranty (Installed in May I believe have to look) new holly 600 carb last 3k miles as above new shocks last 1500 miles transmission was just pulled new rear main, fresh gaskets and fluid shifts great Will include an extra Auto Trans that slipped with purchase 4x4 works great Issues: back seat is tan rest of interior is grey, purchased jeep without backseat or belts I installed both the rear seat and set of seatbelts, but the seat itself isn't same color Body is solid, but very slight rust around fender flares and one 1-2" hole through in the rear, could use paint previous owner did a so so job with the paint. Leaking oil believe they did a bad job on the rear main seal and it's leaking there, or possibly the pan. Looking for $4,200 OBO starts, runs, drives great with the exception of needing the oil leak addressed, I can also go to autozone/shop and get the warranty info on the engine. I want to sell will work with price a lot if before Christmas deal is made. This is ready to go on the road and mud/snow, but I would like it to go to someone that is going to use it instead of it sitting in my pole barn! Will get PICs up this weekend possibly tonight.
